The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benard fails with a takedown attempt. Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Johnson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Johnson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Johnson wants it to stay on the feet. Johnson tries to clinch up. Benard swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson. Johnson is looking to clinch but Benard is avoiding it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koch lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively. Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Koch sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A combination from Koch does no damage. Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Koch was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Koch gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Koch wanted to stand there but Jones had control of the position. Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy. Koch trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jones's guard.

Let's hope that Monyet has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Quintana drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Monyet manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Quintana has Monyet in his guard. Monyet's corner is telling him to maintain position.

He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Quintana and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Quintana blocks the body kick.

Oh Quintana is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Quintana walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Monyet swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Edgar tries to move into range but Anjing moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Edgar doesn't succeed with the takedown and Anjing counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. An inside leg kick from Anjing misses. Edgar gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Anjing. Anjing will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Edgar is rocked! Jelek Anjing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Edgar walks straight into a right hand from Anjing - that's dropped him! Anjing jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Edgar from any more punishment! Edgar complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab by Moneymaker. Moneymaker is looking to take this fight into the clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Noles. Noles shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Noles controlling the action here. Noles is looking for a kimura but Moneymaker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Noles to get the leverage. Moneymaker is pressing down on Noles's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Moneymaker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Noles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Noles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
