Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Teppo Tulppu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Hull! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hull shoots for a double leg takedown but Tulppu sprawls well. He's pushed Hull's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hull closes the distance and clinches up with Tulppu, looking for a takedown. Hull pushes Tulppu against the cage but Tulppu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tulppu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Tulppu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hull. Teppo Tulppu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Hull. Hull on the wrong end of a nice hook. Tulppu lands with an overhand left. This has been an exciting period of action! Hull with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tulppu to score with a decent uppercut. Horrible takedown by Hull or perhaps it was just good defense by Tulppu which made him look bad. Tulppu is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Hull flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hull is out cold! Tulppu holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cadell scores with a body shot.
Mendoza defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cadell. Cadell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mendoza sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cadell somewhat. Mendoza takes a body punch but keeps moving. Mendoza is breathing heavily. Cadell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mendoza doesn't manage to clinch there - Cadell circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Cadell. Those never looked like landing.
Cadell gets the takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cadell wants to control but Mendoza is keeping him busy.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Mendoza ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cadell pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mendoza back to the cage. Cadell follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
 It looks like Peter Mendoza has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cadell ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Cadell throws a right and a left that both miss. Cadell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cadell fails to land with a series of punches.
Cadell dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cadell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mendoza doesn't seem bothered though. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cadell, right into the meat.

Mendoza gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cadell to score an easy takedown into full guard. Mendoza on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mendoza tries to get out of the position. Mendoza keeping full guard, as Cadell tries to pass.
Cadell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Cadell looking to pass the guard.

Cadell seems to be looking for submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cadell is working for a kimura but Mendoza is defending it quite comfortably.

Valesquez shoots in and gets a takedown into Vachon's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Valesquez wants to pass the guard but Vachon is keeping the position. Vachon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Valesquez tries to free his leg and advance position but Vachon is retaining full guard.
Vachon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Valesquez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Vachon keeping full guard, as Valesquez tries to pass. Vachon looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Anajo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck De Groot on the side of the head. Anajo tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Anajo darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Anajo connects with a body shot. Anajo takes a jab right on the kisser.

Anajo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by De Groot. De Groot dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Anajo. That did some damage! De Groot throws a head kick that misses. Anajo misses with a two punch combination.
Lars De Groot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. De Groot throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Anajo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Anajo throws an overhand right that lands on De Groot's shoulder, as De Groot tries to avoid the shot.

De Groot chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Anajo can pounce on him.
Anajo throws a big shot that misses. Anajo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and De Groot has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Nice takedown defense from De Groot. No joy for Anajo on that attempt. Nice cross by De Groot. De Groot misses with a few strikes there.
De Groot blocks a low kick nicely. Anajo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. That kick from Anajo tenderised De Groot's leg. De Groot is trying to keep his angry face on. Anajo tries to score with a low kick but De Groot moves his leg out of the way. Anajo lands an overhand right. Anajo catches De Groot with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! De Groot displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Anajo. The fighters circling - Anajo throws out the jab but it was never going to land. De Groot misses with a double jab.

Anajo pushes De Groot back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. De Groot is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. De Groot has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Anajo taking a breather. Anajo taking a breather.

and Jay counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The fighters circle momentarily. Jay darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Blanchard displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Blanchard throws a nice looking combination but Jay bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Blanchard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Blanchard takes a swing at Jay's ribcage but misses. Jay throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Blanchard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jay moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Blanchard moves forwards but Jay connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Blanchard missing with a left hand there. Jay was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Blanchard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Jay lands a really nice looking cross but Blanchard seems unphased.

Blanchard gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Jay raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ice Cube! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drysdale shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cube counters with a two punch combo. Cube fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. No luck with that takedown attempt from Drysdale. Drysdale shoots and misses letting Cube counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Drysdale. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown by Drysdale or perhaps it was just good defense by Cube which made him look bad. Cube lands a nice looking body shot.

Drysdale saw that one coming. Drysdale fails with the takedown enabling Cube to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Drysdale shoots and misses letting Cube counter with a right hand.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Drysdale with a lazy takedown attempt and Cube counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Cube keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Ice Cube is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Drysdale takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Drysdale tries for a takedown but Cube circles away easily and Cube counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Drysdale thinking. Drysdale is breathing heavily. Cube stuffs the takedown attempt from Drysdale. Drysdale gets slowly back to his feet. Cube uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Drysdale has time to react.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Drysdale shoots and misses and Cube counters with a straight right hand. Cube is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Drysdale had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into p�t�. Drysdale shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Cube to counter with a crisp jab.
 Drysdale is rocked! A telegraphed right hand from Cube misses the target. Drysdale has his takedown stuffed and Cube counters with a nice body shot. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Ice Cube dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Drysdale gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cube counters with a three punch combo that has Drysdale backing up. Drysdale nods at Cube to acknowledge the strikes. Oh Drysdale is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cube will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
