The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powell takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Powell looks gassed! Leroix lands with a right hand.
It looks like Robert Powell has been cut. The crowd cheers as Leroix lands an impressive looking overhand right. Powell doesn't seem phased though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Leroix throws a nice outside leg kick. Powell chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Leroix can pounce on him.

Leroix fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Nice shot lands for Leroix.
That has opened up Robert Powell's cut even more. Leroix dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Leroix throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Leroix throws a shot to the body.
Powell on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Leroix turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Leroix thuds a left hand into Powell's body. Leroix scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Leroix fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Powell on the side of the head. Nice body punch from Leroix. Leroix lands a big right hook! Powell looks hurt but is still standing! Leroix lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Powell falls down and Leroix dives in with a huge hammer fist! Powell's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Leroix runs up the ropes to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ricardo Leroix! Ricardo Leroix seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murray feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Petrov's calf. Murray tries a head kick but it misses.
Petrov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Murray tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Petrov is in Murray's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Petrov's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Vladimir Petrov has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Murray throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Murray is breathing heavily. Murray throws a sloppy head kick and Petrov moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petrov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Murray manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Petrov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Petrov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Petrov throwing strikes but missing. That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrov is working Murray over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Petrov controls the pace of the fight for a moment. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Petrov landing some decent shots from guard. Petrov content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Petrov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Petrov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Petrov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Murray preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Petrov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Vladimir Petrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Petrov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Petrov keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Murray on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Murray tries to get out of the position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Petrov has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Murray defend it? Petrov steps over the head and cranks it - Murray is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Petrov!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitchell throws a sloppy head kick and Styles moves out of range easily. Styles ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mitchell moves away. Styles throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mitchell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Styles misses the jab. A jab from Styles misses. Mitchell avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Styles digs a good body shot into Mitchell's ribs. Mitchell ducks under a wild hook from Styles. Styles connects with a body shot that sends Mitchell's belly button to the back. Styles avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Mitchell wants to clinch up but Styles keeps it at a distance. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Mitchell clinches up with Styles and pushes him back against the ropes. Styles is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Styles has a couple of punches blocked by Mitchell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Busta tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Skank paws at him with a jab and circles away. A low kick from Skank is predictable there and Busta counters with an outside leg kick.
Skank dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Busta. That did some damage! Busta wants to clinch up but Skank keeps it at a distance. Skank misses with a leg kick. Skank will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

I think Bastos might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to D-Nox & Beckers - One Shot (Flame On Fire Remix) . The crowd seem to be enjoying Saint's choice of entrance music: Be Aggresive by Faith No More. Kain Saint told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Bastos dives in and grabs Saint's left leg, looking for a takedown. Saint pushes down on Bastos's head and hops out. A nice leg kick lands there from Saint. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Estoban Valquez! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inoue throws a sloppy head kick and Valquez moves out of range easily. Inoue thuds his right hand into Valquez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Valquez closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Valquez throws a head kick that misses. Inoue shoots in looking for a takedown. Valquez tries to sprawl out of it but Inoue keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Valquez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Oooooooooooh, not good.
