Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Doctor P - Big Boss. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones misses with a double jab
and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Andrew Jones has been cut. Morgan tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Morgan. Morgan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Morgan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Morgan checks a low kick from Jones. Jones misses with a double jab
and Morgan counters with a lovely shot to the body. Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Morgan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kenneth Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Jones. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Morgan shows good takedown defense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Morgan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jones momentarily.
Jones shoots in and drives through. Morgan sprawls well. Morgan checks a leg kick. Morgan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Morgan jabs Jones to the body, keeping him at a distance. Morgan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones shoots in but Morgan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head. Morgan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jones. Jones fails to land the takedown. Morgan lands a really nice looking cross but Jones seems unphased.
Jones is rocked! Jones staying out of range there. Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Morgan finish him? Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A big left from Morgan misses. Jones staying out of range there. Morgan misses with a straight left. Morgan grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Jones takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Morgan cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. PE utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. PE working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Petrovas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Petrovas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Petrovas missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Petrovas working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. PE is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Petrovas defends well. PE controls Petrovas momentarily but Petrovas frees himself. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Petrovas is looking to work some ground and pound but PE has wrist control. PE wants to sweep but no luck. Petrovas throws a big elbow that misses. PE wants to stand up but Petrovas is controlling him. Petrovas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. PE swivels though and keeps the full guard. PE keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. PE scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. PE moves in looking to clinch but Petrovas pushes him off. Petrovas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

PE gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. PE tries to close the distance and clinch up but Petrovas swats him away and circles back towards the center. PE clinches up against the cage. Petrovas takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. PE is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Petrovas scores with a couple of nice shots. Petrovas prevents PE from standing back up.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Petrovas landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Petrovas is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Petrovas throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. PE looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Petrovas lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Petrovas missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

PE tries to pull guard but Petrovas holds him up against the cage and eventually PE drops back down to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Petrovas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Petrovas looking to punish the body of his opponent here but PE is avoiding damage well.
PE has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. PE is looking to reverse the position. PE is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. PE tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Petrovas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. This has been an exciting period of action! PE taking a bit of punishment here - Petrovas scoring with strikes. Petrovas is putting a hurting on PE here, landing some big shots from side control. Petrovas lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear PE down.

PE PE has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Vasilijus Petrovas is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. PE throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to PE PE. I think Petrovas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie shoots in but no luck this time. Gracie throws a solid leg kick but Leblanc takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gracie. Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Leblanc to score with a decent uppercut. Guillaume Leblanc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Leblanc punishes Gracie's body with a nice straight punch. Leblanc stuns Gracie with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Leblanc keeps the fight on the outside. Leblanc tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Leblanc as he jumps to the side. Leblanc moves into range and connects with a jab. Leblanc tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it. Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gracie gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Gracie is stalling in the full guard. Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Leblanc is keeping the position for now. Leblanc wants to get back to his feet but Gracie is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Leblanc keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. Leblanc is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Leblanc shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Leblanc swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Leblanc which made him look bad. This has been an exciting period of action! Leblanc fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Gracie looks gassed!

Leblanc throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Leblanc wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Leblanc is looking to clinch. Leblanc tries to clinch but Gracie moves out of range. Leblanc drives through and clinches with Gracie against the cage.

and Vera counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Vera looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
