0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alberto Lopez! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivera tries to clinch but Lopez is having none of it. Rivera misses with a body shot.
Rivera throws a right and a left that both miss. Lopez throws a big shot that misses. Rivera looks to clinch and Lopez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Rivera ducks under a wild hook from Lopez. Rivera is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lopez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Rivera moves to clinch but Lopez breaks away and Lopez counters with a shoot takedown. Rivera fights it but they end up in guard. Lopez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rivera wants to get back to his feet but Lopez is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lopez stands and throws Rivera's legs to the side, diving into side control. Lopez lands an elbow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rivera avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rivera gets to his feet. Lopez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Rivera fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lopez is out of range. Rivera shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lopez but Lopez pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lopez lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lopez misses with a right hand and Rivera counters with a three punch combo that has Lopez backing up. Lopez nods at Rivera to acknowledge the strikes. Rivera tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lopez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rivera somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryder Rivera. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rivera shoots in looking for a takedown. Lopez tries to sprawl out of it but Rivera keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lopez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. This has been an exciting period of action! Rivera closes the distance and clinches up with Lopez, looking for a takedown. Rivera pushes Lopez against the cage but Lopez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A combination from Rivera does no damage. Lopez misses with a right hand and Rivera counters with a one-two to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! Wile Coyote comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Coyote has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fox stalks Tea and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tea's face. Tea staggers backwards, shaken. Tea ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fox moves away. Horrible takedown by Fox or perhaps it was just good defense by Tea which made him look bad. Tea goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Fox tries to clinch but Tea moves out of range. Fox misses with a low kick.
Tea fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Tea ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fox moves away. A jab from Tea misses. Tea misses with an uppercut. Tea looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Fox wants to stand and escape but Tea is having none of it. Fox keeping full guard, as Tea tries to pass. Fox wants to get back to his feet but Tea is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tea drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tea jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tea with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tea wants to pass the guard but Fox is keeping the position. Fox wants to stand but Tea is controlling the position. Fox looks gassed! Tea trying to control but Fox is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tea stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fox swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tea working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Tea takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fire darts in trying to clinch and Nappa counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fire's guard now. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Nappa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nappa won't allow Fire to get back to his feet. Nappa chips away with some ground and pound. Nappa throwing strikes from guard but Fire blocks nicely. 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Goss! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Babcock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Goss was well out of range. Poor timing from Babcock. Babcock takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Goss tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Babcock manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Babcock misses with a body shot.
Goss avoids the body shot from Babcock.
Babcock fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Goss gets a double leg takedown into Babcock's guard. Goss chips away with some ground and pound. Babcock working a defensive guard here.
Goss passes into half guard. Goss scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Babcock slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Babcock looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Goss working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Goss throws a big elbow that misses. Babcock preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goss in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Goss with a flurry of punches that miss. Goss postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Goss working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Goss postures up.
Goss throws a big right hand that misses. Babcock has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Goss should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Babcock has tightened it up now! Goss should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stein tries for a takedown but Stroud sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Stroud misses with a low kick. Stroud tries a head kick but it misses.

Stroud slips under a jab from Stein. Stroud feints and then cracks Stein's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stein down. Stein takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Stein misses with a body shot.

Good work by Stein as he checks the leg kick. A big left from Stein misses. Stroud pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stein throws out a loose jab but Stroud uses good head movement to avoid it. Stroud moves away from the strike by Stein. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stein is defended easily by Stroud. A shot to the body from Stein misses and Stroud counters with a nice kick to the body. Stein looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stroud is fending him off so far but Stein persists. Nope, Stroud circles away and we're back to standing. Les Stroud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Stein. Stein avoids the head kick by Stroud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stroud tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Stein is able to avoid easily. Stein closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Stroud quickly recovers to half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Stroud slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stroud had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stein defends it easily. Stroud looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Stein throwing strikes but missing. Stein prevents Stroud from getting back to his feet. Stroud is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stein defends well. Stroud lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stein! Stein defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Stroud.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stein tries to lock up and control but Stroud gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Stroud thowing shots but they're missing. Stein tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stroud throws some wild stikes that Stein manages to avoid easily.
Stroud can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stein is looking to escape. Stroud scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Stein?
Stroud is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Stein to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Stein shrugs it off. Stein defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Stroud. Stroud swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Stein is now in Stroud's guard. A big mistake from Stroud there, giving up the dominant position!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stein postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Stroud wants to get back to his feet but Stein is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Stein content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Stein got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stroud has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stein has managed to get both his arms back between Stroud's legs - danger averted. Stein keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stroud's head. Stein makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Stroud utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stroud is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stein is controlling him. Stroud manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stein manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stein is trying to control the position but Stroud postures up. Stroud gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Stroud throws a half hearted mid kick. Stroud tries to sprawl but Stein drives through with a takedown into half guard. Stein sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stroud defending well though. Stein lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Stroud wants to get back to full guard. Stein scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stroud wants to get back to full guard. Stein slips a nice elbow through Stroud's hands, connecting with Stroud's forehead. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Stroud wants to get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Les Stroud will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carlo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cao backs up against the cage.
It looks like Rhys Cao has been cut. Carlo throws a lazy right hand but Cao sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Cao scores with a nice head shot. Cao ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Carlo moves away. Carlo clinches up against the cage. Cao lands an elbow just above Carlo 's eye.
It looks like Jim Carlo has been cut. Cao lands a left hand that snaps the head of Carlo backwards. Carlo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Cao fails to land. A right hook to the body lands for Cao.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cao lands on the inside with an uppercut. Cao lands an elbow inside. Cao gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Carlo wants to take the fight to the mat but Cao manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Cao pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Cao lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Carlo backwards. A short right from Cao on the inside. Carlo looking to slow down the pace here.

Rhys Cao very nearly forgot to thank MMA ANIMAL amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
