The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Tevreden.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Statham wants to clinch up but Tevreden keeps it at a distance. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greene closes the distance and clinches. Greene creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Askaraliev tries for a takedown but Greene manages to get underhooks.

Askaraliev fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Greene moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Greene wants to clinch. Bekjan Askaraliev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Askaraliev lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Greene circles away quickly and effectively. Askaraliev moves out of range as Greene throws a body kick.

Greene wants to get back to his feet but Askaraliev drags him back down. Askaraliev is putting a hurting on Greene here, landing some big shots from side control. Askaraliev misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Askaraliev tries for a kimura but Greene is defending well.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Askaraliev working the ground and pound but Greene is defending the strikes. Greene tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Askaraliev wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Askaraliev lands an elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Greene is looking to regain half guard here but Askaraliev keeps moving and retains side control. Askaraliev has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Let's see if Greene can do anything to dispel that myth. Askaraliev tries for a kimura but Greene is defending well. Askaraliev in side control, working for a kimura. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dotson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gomez counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Dan Dotson has been cut. Gomez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dotson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gomezs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Gomez misses with a head kick.
Gomez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gomez dodges the punch combination from Dotson.
Dotson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Dotson counters with a three punch combo that has Gomez backing up. Gomez nods at Dotson to acknowledge the strikes. Dotson avoids the head kick by Gomez.

That's one minute gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Dotson. Dotson gets a clinch. Gomez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dotson has him pressed against the cage. Dotson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Dotson works his foot free and advances to mount. Dotson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gomez manages to avoid the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dotson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Dotson has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gomez! Dotson landing shots from mount. Dotson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Dotson throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Gomez has his hands clasped together but Dotson breaks the hold and Gomez is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Dotson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Volnaya Borba looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kalinin! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Volnaya Borba goes for an armbar but Kalinin turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kalinin. Kalinin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Kalinin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Volnaya Borba knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Volnaya Borba is trying to control Kalinin's posture but Kalinin avoids it. Volnaya Borba is looking for a sweep. Volnaya Borba really is a fat lump. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kalinin is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Volnaya Borba looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kalinin gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Volnaya Borba is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kalinin lets go of the hold and Volnaya Borba can pop his arm back in it's socket.

I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Alexander Nevsky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Nevsky scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Nevsky is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Botsman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Nevsky grinds an elbow into Botsman's temple. Nevsky postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
