0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Thomas! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Krueger backs up against the cage.
Jason Krueger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thomas bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Krueger's head. Thomas throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Krueger leaves Thomas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Krueger closes the distance and clinches. Thomas is pressed up against the cage. Krueger has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Thomas down to the mat. Thomas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Thomas stuns Krueger with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Krueger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thomas as he jumps to the side. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Krueger looks for a takedown but Thomas sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Krueger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krueger circles away from the clinch attempt.

Thomas throws a combination that misses and Krueger holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Thomas cracks Krueger with a nice body shot. Krueger working hard to break the clinch. Thomas breaks from the clinch.
Krueger closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Thomas to the mat! Thomas manages to get full guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Krueger lands a couple of elbows. Krueger drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Thomas manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Krueger has Thomas in his guard. Krueger wants to stand up but Thomas is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thomas won't allow Krueger to sweep him here. Thomas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Krueger is keeping the position for now. Krueger controlling the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Thomas is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Jason Krueger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Thomas in side control, throwing shots but Krueger defends. Thomas trying to control the position but Krueger is working away. Krueger is looking for a sweep. Thomas postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Krueger parries the strikes from Thomas easily there. Thomas is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Krueger to escape.

Krueger has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Thomas throwing strikes but missing. Thomas trying to control the position from guard on top but Krueger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thomas scoring with punches to the head and body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Krueger takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Thomas has gone for a leg lock! Krueger slips out almost immediately though and dives into Thomas's guard. Thomas looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Krueger wants to control from the top but Thomas keeps moving. Krueger controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

We're going to have a standup here because Jason Krueger wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. The fight moves into the clinch position. Mark Thomas is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Krueger has Thomas pushed against the cage. Krueger gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Thomas regains guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thomas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Krueger is one step ahead there. Krueger throwing strikes from guard but Thomas blocks nicely. Krueger trying to control the position from guard on top but Thomas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Thomas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Krueger is refusing to be controlled, as Thomas sits in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jason Krueger. I think Thomas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Rood fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mcdonald, pushing him back against the cage. Rood manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Rood looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mcdonald is one step ahead there. Mcdonald thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mcdonald drops back looking for a leg! Rood is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rood manages to kick Mcdonald off! Mcdonald jumps back into Rood's guard. Rood pulls Mcdonald in close to prevent any damage.
