0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Martyn Ripley! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ripley tries to close the distance and clinch but Andres swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Andres leaves Ripley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ripley with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Andres tries to bum rush Ripley with a series of wild strikes but Ripley uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ripley closes this distance looking for a takedown but Andres circles away. Andres lands with a cross. Andres avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ripley tries to clinch but Andres is having none of it. Andres lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Ripley tries to clinch up but Andres circles away and keeps his distance. Ripley takes one to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ripley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Andres.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ripley looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Ripley is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Andres is just riding it out for now. Ripley eventually gives up the hold. Andres tries to roll over but Ripley keeps him under control.

Andres moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! No joy there for Andres, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Andres lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ripley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Andres manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Nice takedown defense from Andres. No joy for Ripley on that attempt. Martyn Ripley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ripley is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Andres. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andres connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Andres, right into the meat.
Ripley fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ripley crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Andres - the referee stops the clock and Ripley gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Andres. Ripley manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Ripley avoids a punch combination nicely.

Andres shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ripley eats them both and turns towards Andres to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Andres lands with a straight right. Ripley didn't see that one coming. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Andres explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Andres lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ripley will feel that in the morning. Andres checks a low kick from Ripley. Ripley throws a sloppy head kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. A right-left combo lands from Andres. Andres scores with a three punch combo!

And that's the end of the fight! Emilio Andres showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Andres, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
