The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Steel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sykes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Steel pushes a forearm under Sykes's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Sykes is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

That was a close round but I would say that Deacon Frost will probably get the nod.
