The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palovok tries to clinch up but Romita circles away and keeps his distance. Palovok fails with a takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Palovok looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Romita closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Romita lands in his opponent's guard. Romita in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Romita must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Romita tries to free his leg and advance position but Palovok is retaining full guard. Romita trying to control but Palovok is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Romita accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kopacz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gaines tries to keep at a distance but Kopacz has taken the fight into the clinch. Gaines manages to break the clinch.

Gaines goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kopacz clinches up with Gaines and pushes him back against the cage. Gaines keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kopacz's efforts to push away. Gaines escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kopacz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gaines has time to react. Kopacz throws a leg kick but Gaines sees it coming and moves out of range.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ricky Dale Johnson! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Snake counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Johnson thinking. Snake stuffs the takedown. Johnson with a lazy takedown attempt and Snake counters with a series of strikes. Johnson will be more careful next time no doubt. Solidus Snake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Dale Johnson. Johnson with a poor takedown and Snake cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Snake swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Johnson misses with a takedown and Snake counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Snake lands a really nice looking cross but Johnson seems unphased.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson darts in trying to clinch and Snake counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Snake scores with a nice right hand.
Snake lands a jab to the nose. Johnson misses with a takedown and Snake connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Johnson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Snake is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Johnson. Johnson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snake delivers a nice body kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson shoots and misses and Snake counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Johnson looks gassed! Snake cracks Johnson with a right hand to the side of the head. Snake throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Snake throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely. Johnson shoots and misses and Snake counters with a straight right hand. Snake pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Solidus Snake is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson throws a lazy uppercut
and Snake counters with a two punch combo. Johnson misses with a takedown attempt and Snake counters with a lovely shot to the body. Snake takes the fight into the clinch. Snake working some nice short punches in the clinch. Snake scores with a nice hook to the head. Snake lands a right hand that snaps the head of Johnson backwards. Snake lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Johnson backwards. Snake lands with a left to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A body shot lands from Snake.
Johnson takes a shot to the head. Snake throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Johnsons head. Snake lands a left hand that snaps the head of Johnson backwards. A short uppercut from Snake. Snake lands an uppercut.
Johnson is rocked! Snake lands a right hand. Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Snake finish him?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snake lands with a short shot to the head. A right hook to the body lands for Snake.
Snake working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Snake dips a shoulder and cracks Johnson with a mighty uppercut! Johnson falls back against the cage and Snake unloads with a barrage of strikes! Johnson is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Snake screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smithson tries to clinch but Flintoff is having none of it. Flintoff blocks a head kick by Smithson.
Smithson tries to close the distance and clinch but Flintoff swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Smithson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. No luck with that takedown attempt from Smithson. Smithson takes one on the button. Flintoff misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A slow jab from Smithson misses its intended target. Flintoff cracks Smithson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Flintoff has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Smithson to stand back up!
Smithson is rocked!
It looks like Willy Smithson has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Flintoff is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Smithson hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hamara stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hamara wants it to stay on the feet. Masters misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hamara.
Masters shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hamara but Hamara pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hamara slaps away a takedown attempt from Masters, before circling back to the center of the mat. Turo Hamara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Masters. Hamara cracks Masters with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Chris Masters has been cut. Masters tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hamara sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Masters somewhat. Good shot there by Hamara. Hamara throws a sloppy head kick and Masters moves out of range easily. Masters walks into a stiff left hand from Hamara. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Left hook, right uppercut from Hamara. Masters has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hamara but Hamara pushes him off and we're back to square one. Masters blocks a head kick by Hamara.

and Hamara counters with a thumping low kick. Hamara throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Masters is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hamara is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Masters. Masters closes the distance and clinches up with Hamara, looking for a takedown. Masters pushes Hamara against the cage but Hamara circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Masters thows a body shot but no joy. Hamara throws the kick towards the body but Masters avoids it. Hamara throws a low kick but it's checked well by Masters. Masters throws a lazy uppercut
and Hamara counters with a body kick that stops Masters in his tracks momentarily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Masters avoids the head kick by Hamara.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hamara fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Masters looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Masters looks gassed! Hamara cracks the inside of Masters's front leg. A cross from Hamara lands.
That has opened up Chris Masters's cut even more. Masters finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Hamara's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Masters falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
