Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Son Wukong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 27 - 0, fighting out of London, Brij Khali! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wukong takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Khali scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Khali takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Khali has taken the fight to the clinch.
Khali wants to get back to striking at distance but Wukong won't allow it.
Wukong goes for a takedown in the clinch but Khali prevents it.
Wukong misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Khali.
Khali pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wukong moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Khali connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Wukong slips under a jab. Wukong moves in looking to clinch but Khali pushes him off. Khali misses with the combination.
Khali steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Wukong. That one must have hurt. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Khali checks a leg kick. Wukong needs to keep his hands up - Khali had a free shot at his head there. Wukong is looking to score with low kicks. Wukong shoots in for a takedown and gets it. That's one minute gone in the round. Khali is looking to stand up but Wukong isn't so interested in that idea. Khali is wriggling around but Wukong manages to pass to half guard.
Khali looks gassed! Khali is looking to escape. Wukong is trying to control the action in half guard but Khali is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Khali has hold of Wukong's hands but Wukong slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wukong working over Khali with some ground and pound. Khali looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Wukong looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Khali with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Wukong working the head and body with strikes. Wukong lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Khali is trying to stand up here but Wukong is controlling him well. Wukong is looking for a kimura but Khali is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wukong to get the leverage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eko shoots in and gets a takedown into Ze Spario's guard. Eko drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ze Spario dives on top into guard. Eko wants to get back to his feet but Ze Spario is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ze Spario stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Eko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ze Spario stops Eko from standing up. Ze Spario is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Ze Spario won't allow Eko to get back to his feet. Ze Spario drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ze Spario jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ze Spario pushing down on Eko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eko's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Ze Spario sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Eko is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Ze Spario cracks Eko with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ze Spario has hold of Eko's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Eko manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Eko is bucking up trying to escape but Ze Spario cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ze Spario trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ze Spario postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Eko looks a forlorn figure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eko is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Eko is rocked! Ze Spario moves to back control. Eko is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Eko drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ze Spario manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Eko has Ze Spario in his guard. Eko pushes Ze Spario off and gets back to his feet.

Turilli tries to bum rush Tyler with a series of wild strikes but Tyler uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Turilli ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Turilli swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tyler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tyler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Turilli's waist but Turilli gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tyler off to one side. Turilli throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tyler decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Turilli's guard. Turilli pushes Tyler off and scrambles back to his feet.

Kick throws a nice looking combination but Henry bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Henry, as that shot connected.

"I'm sorry" says Anier. Leissner manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Anier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Karri Vahti! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tukka Hirvonen! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hirvonen throws a hook to the side of Vahti's head but Vahti sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Vahti takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Hirvonen thuds a left hand into Vahti's body. The crowd cheers as Hirvonen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vahti doesn't seem phased though. Vahti fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hirvonen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Hirvonen lands the left hand. No joy there for Hirvonen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vahti thows a body shot but no joy. Hirvonen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vahti throws out the jab. Hirvonen lands a head shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hirvonen avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Vahti thuds his right hand into Hirvonen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Hirvonen just misses with a punch to the body.
Vahti looks to land a combination but Hirvonen avoids it well. Vahti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hirvonen was well out of range. Poor timing from Vahti. Hirvonen tries to move into range but Vahti moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Hirvonen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vahti pinned against the cage. Vahti gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hirvonen missing with a left hand there. Vahti was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Hirvonen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vahti moves away. Vahti throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hirvonen. Vahti throws a body kick that misses. Hirvonen throws a head kick but Vahti moves out of range.

Vahti lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Hirvonen looks to land a left hand but Vahti moved out of range nicely. Hirvonen just misses with a punch to the body.

Vahti throws a right and a left that Hirvonen avoids nicely. Vahti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hirvonen moves away. Vahti lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A punch combination from Vahti misses. Some wild striking there from Hirvonen.
Hirvonen throws an overhand right that lands on Vahti's shoulder, as Vahti tries to avoid the shot. Hirvonen takes a swing at Vahti's ribcage but misses. Hirvonen scores with a takedown into Vahti's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vahti managing to control the position. Vahti is trying to control the position but Hirvonen postures up. Hirvonen landing some decent shots from guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hirvonen's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hirvonen throws an elbow that misses. Vahti uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hirvonen's guard. Nice move by Vahti! Hirvonen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hirvonen is looking for a triangle but Vahti pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hirvonen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vahti is one step ahead there. Vahti trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hirvonen's guard. Hirvonen wants to sweep here but Vahti controlling him for the moment. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Vahti wants to get up but he can't break Hirvonen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Vahti stands and steps away. Hirvonen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hirvonen on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tukka Hirvonen will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hirvonen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vahti circles away quickly and effectively. Hirvonen misses with a looping left. Vahti throws a body kick that misses. Hirvonen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vahti to score with a decent uppercut. Vahti is looking to chop away at Hirvonen's legs. Hirvonen misses with a two punch combination.
Vahti throws a low kick, looking for Hirvonen's leg but Hirvonen calmly moves out of range. Vahti walks into a stiff left hand from Hirvonen. A thudding body kick lands there by Vahti!
Hirvonen thows a left - swing and a miss! Hirvonen bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vahti throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Vahti dips to his left and cracks Hirvonen with an uppercut! Hirvonen misses with a lunging right hand
