Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lawrence Trainor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dominick Dominator! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Trainor looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Trainor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dominator.

Trainor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dominator sprawls well initially but Trainor persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Trainor stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Dominator to get to his feet. Trainor rushes Dominator and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dominator is trying to maintain a safe position but Trainor gets an underhook and turns Dominator into the cage. Trainor looking to throw knees to the head but Dominator is blocking nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dominator tries to stall but Trainor uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Trainor turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Trainor manages to end up in side control. Dominator tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Trainor wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Trainor working the ground and pound but Dominator is defending the strikes. Trainor is staying tight to Dominator's torso, preventing him from escaping. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lawrence Trainor. Trainor moves forwards but Dominator connects with a nice, crisp jab. Dominator keeps the fight on the outside. This has been an exciting period of action! Dominator tries a head kick but it misses.
Dominator throws a leg kick which misses Trainor's front leg but catches the back leg as Trainor tries to avoid it. Trainor is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Dominator wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Trainor takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dominator throws a sloppy head kick and Trainor moves out of range easily. Dominator throws a leg kick but Trainor moved away. A head kick misses from Dominator. Trainor gets in close and instigates a clinch. Trainor misses with a knee to the head. Trainor tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Trainor postures up in Dominator's guard and throws a big left but Dominator blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trainoris looking to pass into half guard but Dominator pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Dominator is in guard. Trainor looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Trainor has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Trainor looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Trainor isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dominator stacks Trainor on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dominator!

Trainor's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Trainor is looking to improve his position but Dominator isn't that keen on the idea. Dominator tries to control but Trainor wriggling away. Trainor is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lawrence Trainor dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Trainor swings wildly with an uppercut but Dominator uses good head movement to avoid it. Trainor with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Dominator is trying to break free. Trainor lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Trainor has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Dominator clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
That's two minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Dominator right now.
Trainor misses with punches from the back. Trainor just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Trainor here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Dominator controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Dominator defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trainor throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Trainor working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dominator doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dominator manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dominator stopping the sweep attempt from Trainor.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Trainor is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Trainor tightens his grip and picks Dominator up, before dumping him to the ground. Dominator manages to land in guard. Trainor stands up from guard. Let's bang!
And that's the end of the fight! Lawrence Trainor showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Trainor, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

It looks like Jack Fadden has been cut. Fadden avoids the body shot from Luutch.
Luutch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fadden swats him away and circles back towards the center. Luutch gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Luutch connects with a nasty looking knee right to Fadden's face.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fadden throws an elbow that misses. Luutch uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fadden's guard. Nice move by Luutch! Luutch has gone for a leg lock! Fadden slips out almost immediately though and dives into Luutch's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Fadden got a little sloppy there for a moment and Luutch has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fadden has managed to get both his arms back between Luutch's legs - danger averted. Luutch manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Luutch is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fadden to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fadden shrugs it off. Luutch looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Luutch jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Fadden is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Fadden and Luutch has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Luutch is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fadden knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fadden is trying to improve his position. Fadden wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Luutch looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Luutch stands up and we're back to a striking position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Aurelius counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bach wants to sweep here but Aurelius controlling him for the moment. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bach can do anything to dispel that myth. Aurelius passes Bach's left leg - he's now in half guard. Aurelius moves into full mount! Bach won't be happy about that! Bach defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Aurelius. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bach really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aurelius. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bach is desperately trying to improve his position but Aurelius has a good base and remains in mount. Aurelius working for a submission but Bach is keeping him at bay. Bach defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Aurelius.

Bach must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Aurelius has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bach should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Aurelius has tightened it up now! Bach should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! Morris fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Souza manages to avoid it. Morris lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Souza falls backwards - clearly groggy! Morris dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weston with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Castilho to score with a decent uppercut. Castilho throws a leg kick which misses Weston's front leg but catches the back leg as Weston tries to avoid it. Castilho looks for the body kick but Weston saw that one coming. Weston takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Castilho connects with the punch. Weston takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Weston throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Castilho makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Nate Weston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Castilho. Weston shrugs it off though. Weston looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Castilho thows a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castilho bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Castilho lands a head kick. Weston smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Castilho lands with a nice body kick. Weston misses with a hook. Castilho swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Both fighters circling a little - Castilho finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Castilho bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Weston is rocked! Weston takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Weston is still on wobbly legs! Can Castilho finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! Castilho lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Weston up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Castilho from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Weston's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duddy jabs Wagner to the body, keeping him at a distance. Wagner tries to clinch up but Duddy circles away and keeps his distance. Duddy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wagner moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Duddy bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wagner's head. Duddy has Wagner up against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Duddy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Duddy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wagner. Wagner doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Duddy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Duddy is trying to maintain a safe position but Wagner gets an underhook and turns Duddy into the cage. Duddy misses with a punch to the body.
Duddy is pushing Wagner up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Duddy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wagner wants to control from the top but Duddy keeps moving. Wagner tries to free his leg and advance position but Duddy is retaining full guard. Wagner is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wagner trying to control but Duddy is working from the bottom. Wagner throws an elbow that misses. Duddy uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wagner's guard. Nice move by Duddy!

Duddy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duddy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Duddy wants to control from the top but Wagner keeps moving. Duddy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wagner has his foot on Duddy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Duddy works his way back into a safe position though. Duddy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Duddy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wagner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duddy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duddy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Duddy wants to pass the guard but Wagner is keeping the position.

Duddy wants to control but Wagner is keeping him busy. Duddy tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wagner tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Duddy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Possibly, maybe, no Gein has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gein working the body and head with strikes. Gein throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Otis Gein is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gein throws a jab but it's blocked by kPobede. kPobede connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by kPobede.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Otis Gein. I think Gein has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
