De Diablo presses Eagen against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. De Diablo lands a hook that snaps the head of Eagen backwards. Eagen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. De Diablo smiles and moves away.
Eagen misses with a takedown attempt - De Diablo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Eagen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but De Diablo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Eagen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eagen walks into a jab. Eagen fails with a takedown attempt. This has been an exciting period of action! De Diablo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

De Diablo works on Eagen's body with a couple of short punches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Check out the look on Kreedy's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kreedy in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Machida is still in real trouble! Can Kreedy finish him? Kreedy landing strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Machida wants to control but Kreedy postures up. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Machida sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Kreedy is nestled in close to Machida, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Kreedy trying to control the action but Machida is working from the bottom. Machida on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Kreedy is taking a breather. Machida says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kreedy stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Machida to get to his feet. Machida seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez rushes Lombard and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lombard. Lombard is trying to break the clinch but Sanchez is controlling him. Lombard looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Sanchez lands a hook to the side of the head.
