The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guest shoots in and bounces Mishkin off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Guest passes Mishkin's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Guest trying to control the action but Mishkin is working from the bottom. Guest is working for a submission of some sort.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parkachev misses the shot to the body. Parkachev pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Parkachev works over Dane's head and body with a nice combination. Parkachev is looking to score with low kicks. Parkachev misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Parkachev misses with a jab to the body
and Dane decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Parkachev's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Parkachev is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Parkachev is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dane trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Dane is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Parkachev is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Parkachev has escaped and now he's on top! Parkachev tries to free his leg and advance position but Dane is retaining full guard. Dane is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Parkachev is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dane has a closed guard, preventing Parkachev from standing up. Dane looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Parkachev is working Dane over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Dane escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Parkachev gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dane is breathing heavily. Dane is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Parkachev wants to control from the top but Dane keeps moving. Dane wants to improve his position but instead Parkachev has moved into half guard.

Dane is refusing to be controlled, as Parkachev sits in half guard. Dane is in trouble now - Parkachev has advanced to mount! Parkachev looking to control but Dane is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Dane tries to hold on but Parkachev postures up. Dane throws a hook but Parkachev avoids it easily. Dane walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Parkachev works Dane's body with a nice hook. Parkachev misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Parkachev scores a takedown into full mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dane tries to reverse the position but Parkachev maintains control. Dane reaches up to try and control the position but Parkachev seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Dane rolls and tries to escape and now Parkachev has his back!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mikhailov gets in close and instigates a clinch. Torres tries to pull guard but Mikhailov forces him back to his feet, against the ropes. Torres is trying to break the clinch but Mikhailov has him pressed against the ropes. Mikhailov is trying to pull guard but Torres turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch. Torres has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mikhailov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Torres has clasped his hands together around Mikhailov's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Mikhailov tries to improve position but can't. Mikhailov wants to get back to his feet. You can see the frustration on Mikhailov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Torres has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Mikhailov misses with a head kick.
Mikhailov thows a body shot but no joy. Torres throws a series of punches but Mikhailov moves out of range. Mikhailov tries to clinch up but Torres circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mikhailov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mikhailov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Torres misses with a few strikes there.
Mikhailov throws a big shot that misses. Torres cracks a nice hook into Mikhailov's ribs. Mikhailov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Torres throws a solid leg kick but Mikhailov takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Torres. Mikhailov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Torres cracks Mikhailov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Torres has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mikhailov to stand back up!
It looks like Boris Mikhailov has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mikhailov drops his hands for a split second and Torres immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Mikhailov face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Torres follows up with a right hand that knocks Mikhailov into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Villar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Presidio tries to clinch but fails miserably and Villar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Presidio's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Villar trying to control the position from guard on top but Presidio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Villar is pushing down on Presidio's leg trying to pass to half guard. Presidio is fighting to maintain full guard but Villar has managed to sneak the leg through. Presidio is looking to control Villar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Presidio avoid being mounted? Villar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Palmu shoots in but Head avoids the takedown attempt easily. Head cracks Palmu with a right hand to the side of the head. Samppa Palmu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Palmu shoots in but no luck this time. Richard Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samppa Palmu. Palmu throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Head tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Palmu is in Head's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Head throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Head wants to stand but Palmu is controlling the position. Head wants to hit a switch here but Palmu passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Head there! Palmu lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Palmu jumps back into Head's guard. Palmu passes into half guard. Palmu is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Palmu wants to work for an arm triangle but Head is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Palmu looks gassed! Head moves into full guard.

Head cracks Palmu with an uppercut from hell and Palmu crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Head's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Palmu is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Head working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Head postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Head postures up and lands a big shot to Palmu's brow. Palmu is still in real trouble! Can Head finish him? Head missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Palmu seems to have recovered his senses. Head throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Palmu works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Head scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Palmu has control of Head's left arm, preventing Head from doing any damage. Head loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Palmu keeping moving, preventing Head from controlling successfully. Head is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Palmu can do to turn this around? Head content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Head with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Palmu preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Head accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Palmu lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Head! Head is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Richard Head overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Palmu has isolated one of Head's arms. Head looking to fight him off but Palmu twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

Ferguson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ferguson lands in his opponent's guard. Huong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ferguson is aware though and is defending well. Ferguson controls from within his opponent's guard. Huong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ferguson. Punch passes Carwin's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Punch thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carwin's head.

Carwin can't keep his opponent in guard - Punch advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Punch takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
