The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palomies fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Palomies shoots in for a takedown but Vasquez shows good takedown defense. A nice combination there by Vasquez.
Palomies is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Vasquez stuffs the takedown. Benito Vasquez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Panu Palomies. Palomies has a takedown stuffed. Vasquez throws a right and a left that Palomies avoids nicely. Vasquez scores with a jab to the jaw. Palomies closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vasquez circles away. Palomies drives through with a takedown into guard. Palomies looks gassed! Vasquez is looking to stand up but Palomies isn't so interested in that idea. Vasquez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Palomies manages to get himself to full guard.

Angstrom misses with a takedown attempt - Plan III sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Plan III closes the distance and clinches. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Plan III. Plan III lands an uppercut. Plan III lands a shoulder strike. Angstrom's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Plan III throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Angstroms head.
It looks like Karl Jonas Angstrom has been cut. A nice right hand lands inside from Plan III. A short right from Plan III on the inside. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skiter shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Demidov napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Demidov is trying to get back to half guard. Skiter tries for a kimura but Demidov is defending well.
