The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ra on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by I Am. I Am obviously looking to wear him down.

Ra shoots in and bounces I Am off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
I Am being controlled here, momentarily.
I Am wants to stand up but Ra is controlling him.
I Am is breathing heavily.
Ra is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Ra landing with the ground and pound.

Ra loads up on a big left hand. I Am felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Ra looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! I Am can't hide his disappointment, as Ra celebrates the victory.

In his post fight interview, Amun Ra started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Saunders thuds his shin into the meat of Borkowski's side.

Oooooh!!! Saunders has knocked Borkowski down with a huge combo! Saunders steps away and waves a wobbly Borkowski back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Darek Borkowski has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Saunders circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Borkowski drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Saunders follows Borkowski to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

West gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Gutierrez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gutierrez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gutierrez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! West is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! West has escaped and now he's on top!
West really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gutierrez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kanye West has got the better of the ground game so far.

West wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Gutierrez's closed guard. He's half up but Gutierrez has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Gutierrez pivots and extends the arm, West falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Gutierrez! Well done that man!

Julio Gutierrez decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
