12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Texas Trash! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trash connects with a crisp jab. Malapitan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Malapitan takes a shot right to the bread basket. Trash swings away with a body shot that misses
and Malapitan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Trash is staying active underneath Malapitan, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Malapitan is taking a breather. Trash says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Trash is refusing to be controlled, as Malapitan sits in half guard. Malapitan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Trash is staying active underneath Malapitan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murometz lands a jab to the nose. Leben lands a nice looking body shot.
Murometz throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Murometz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Leben moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Leben lands with a slapping head kick. Leben connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Leben displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Murometz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Murometz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Murometz clinches up with Leben and pushes him back against the cage. Murometz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
