With the fighters clinched against the cage, Apae creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Chan is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Apae is defending well.

Apae's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

That was a close round but I would say that Simen Nielsen will probably get the nod.

McGrew feints and as Nielsen raises his hands in defense, McGrew changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
McGrew sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nielsen's guard.
Nielsen slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
McGrew wants to pass the guard but Nielsen is keeping the position.
McGrew is breathing heavily.

Nielsen lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
McGrew shoots in for a double leg but Nielsen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Simen Nielsen.

Three thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Long if he has to take too many more of those.

Three feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Long sprawling to the canvas! Long rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Three finish him?!
Oh Long is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Three fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Long square on the jaw! Damn, Long is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
