2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Willard! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edwards keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Willard blocks a jab. Willard does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Edwards wants to clinch. Willard throws a head kick that misses. Nice shot lands for Willard. Edwards shoots in and drives through. Willard sprawls well. Edwards pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Edwards shoots in for a double leg but Willard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Willard looks to score with a jab to the body but Edwards is just out of range. Willard scores to the head and body with a nice combination! A punch combination from Willard misses. Willard throws a sloppy head kick and Edwards moves out of range easily. Edwards goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A chopping leg kick lands by Edwards. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Willard lands a nice shot to the body.

 Edwards is rocked! Willard fakes the body blow, causing Edwards to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Edwards goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Maurice Sullivan! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OToole stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and OToole wants it to stay on the feet. OToole throws a hook but Sullivan blocks it. Sullivan swats away the attempt to clinch by OToole.
OToole darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sullivan wants to get back to full guard. OToole is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Sullivan works his way to full guard. Good work. OToole is fighting to break Sullivan's control of his arms but Sullivan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. OToole wants to control from the top but Sullivan keeps moving.

OToole decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sullivan checks a low kick from OToole.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sullivan looking to sit in guard and control but OToole gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
OToole got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sullivan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, OToole has managed to get both his arms back between Sullivan's legs - danger averted. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sullivan is squirming around, avoiding OToole's attempts to control the action. OToole displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sullivan. Sullivan is breathing heavily. OToole connects with a nice looking jab.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! OToole avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sullivan is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling OToole to score with a decent uppercut. OToole scores with a nice head shot. Good exchange - OToole coming out on top. OToole scores with a jab to the jaw. OToole's corner calls for a 1-2. OToole obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. OToole misses with a left hand and Sullivan counters with a nice low kick that buckles OToole's knee momentarily. Sullivan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says OToole as he avoids it easily. OToole connects with a leg kick. Sullivan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Miles OToole is winning the standup battle so far.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. OToole slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! OToole pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sullivan back to the ropes. OToole follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Sullivan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and OToole connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sullivan scrambles back to his feet. OToole getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Sullivan gets control of OToole's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sullivan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Sullivan has a closed guard, preventing OToole from standing up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sullivan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from OToole finds it's way round the side to connect with Sullivan's head. No luck for Sullivan with that takedown attempt. Sullivan fails to land the takedown. Sullivan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Miles OToole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maurice Sullivan.

The crowd cheers as OToole lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sullivan doesn't seem phased though. Sullivan takes a jab right on the kisser.

and OToole moves into the clinch.
Sullivan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. OToole stalks Sullivan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sullivan's face. Sullivan staggers backwards, shaken. OToole slaps away a takedown attempt from Sullivan, before circling back to the center of the mat. OToole walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sullivan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Sullivan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Sullivan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Sullivan shoots in for a double leg but OToole sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. OToole swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sullivan. OToole dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sullivan. That did some damage! Sullivan on the wrong end of a nice jab. OToole connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sullivan's hands.
 Sullivan is rocked! Sullivan takes one on the button. Sullivan is still on wobbly legs! Can OToole finish him? Sullivan gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! OToole gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Sullivan is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ludovic eats them both and turns towards Diaz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Ludovic throws a low kick but it's checked well by Diaz.
Diaz scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. You can see the frustration on Ludovic's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Diaz working the ground and pound. Diaz tries to advance to mount but can't.
Diaz swings around for an armbar but Ludovic sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Diaz's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Diaz has a closed guard, preventing Ludovic from standing up. Diaz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ludovic is one step ahead there. Ludovic wants to stand and escape but instead Diaz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James misses with a wild combination.
Devon James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by James. James fails in his attempt to clinch. James just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James stalks Smith and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smith's face. Smith staggers backwards, shaken. James fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
James takes the fight into the clinch.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Smith has James pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. James manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Smith is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. James gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Smith. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Smith keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
James connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Smith's hands. James lunges at Smith with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Smith's hand. James moves out of range of the body kick from Smith.

Smith might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. James trying to keep a closed guard but Smith is proving a slippery customer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

James is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. James throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Devon James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

James darts in and clinches Smith up against the ropes. Smith wants to take the fight to the mat but James manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Smith drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

James connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Smith has a takedown stuffed. James has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Smith fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. James sprawls well initially but Smith persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. James has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smith is working away from the top position though.
James is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Smith pulls his head out easily.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as James holds on and takes a little breather. James lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Smith! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. James fails to take his opponent's back. Devon James is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

James lands with some strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James blocks Smith's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Devon James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well James has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shield ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Shield does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Shield misses with a wild body shot. Smith goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Smith tries to clinch but Shield moves out of range. Smith throws an overhand right that lands on Shield's shoulder, as Shield tries to avoid the shot. Shield fails to land with a series of punches.
Smith tries to clinch but fails miserably enabling Shield to counter with a crisp jab. Smith fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shield throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Shield keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shield tries to clinch up but Smith circles away and keeps his distance. Shield tries to clinch up and Smith counters with a good low kick that Shield was not able to check.

Smith looks to land a combination but Shield avoids it well. Smith throws a series of punches but Shield moves out of range. Shield keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Shield keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nice sprawl there from Shield as Smith shoots in. Meat Shield has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Smith. No joy there for Shield, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Shield lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively. The fight stays on the outside here - Shield looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Shield lands a nice looking body shot.
Shield is looking to wear down Smith with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Smith checks a low kick from Shield. Smith misses with a body kick. A right-left combo lands from Shield. Smith takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Smith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Shield takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A punch combination from Shield misses. Smith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Smith blocks a low kick nicely. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Smith misses with a two punch combination.
Shield works over Smith's head and body with a nice combination. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Smith throws a push kick but Shield slaps the foot to one side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Smith decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Shield's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Smith seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Shield trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Smith stands up from Shield's guard - Smith perhaps looking for a knockout. Shield is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Smith closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shield to the mat! Shield manages to get full guard. Shield doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Shield looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smith is one step ahead there. Smith looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Smith's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
 The ref stands the fighters back up. Johnny Smith was stalling too much, according to the referee. A head kick misses from Smith. Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Shield, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Shield against the ropes but Shield circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Shield thows a body shot but no joy. The fight stays on the outside here - Shield looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Smith throws a nice looking combination but Shield bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Shield scores with a body shot.
Smith throws the kick towards the body but Shield avoids it. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Shield crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Smith - the referee stops the clock and Shield gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Smith. Shield manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Shield pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Smith is keeping the position for now. Shield trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smith working a defensive guard here.

 Meat Shield has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Shield lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Shield lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shield as he avoids it easily. Smith shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Shield eats them both and turns towards Smith to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Shield throws a head kick that misses. Smith feints a jab promting Shield to slip. Smith then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Shield slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Muad Dib! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wufie misses with a series of wild punches.
Wufie throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dib shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dib showed some decent athleticism there. Wufie is looking to improve his position.
Wufie moves into full guard.
Dib working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wufie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dib. Wufie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Wufie keeping moving, preventing Dib from controlling successfully.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Wufie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dib throws a big right hand that misses. Dib chips away with some ground and pound. Dib trying to control the position from guard on top but Wufie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dib is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Dib might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wufie kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Dib stopping the sweep attempt from Wufie.
 The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Muad Dib. Wufie looks to clinch
and Dib counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wufie tries to strike from the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dib makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dib stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wufie swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wufie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dib looking to pass the guard.
Dib is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wufie knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dib on the ground. Wufie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dib has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dib lands a couple of elbows. Dib pushing down on Wufie's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Wufie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wufie trying to control from the bottom.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Wufie keeping full guard, as Dib tries to pass.

Dib won't allow Wufie to sweep him here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dib pushes down on Wufie's leg and manages to get into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Muad Dib dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A nice leg kick lands there from Wufie. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wufie.

Dib drives through with a takedown into guard. Dib passes easily into side control. Nice work. Wufie tries to bench press Dib off him but Dib keeps the position.
Dib is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wufie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Dib works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Wufie tries to improve position but can't. Wufie is working hard here to advance position. Dib trying to control the action but Wufie is working from the bottom.
Dib has hold of Wufie's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Wufie seems comfortable defending it but Dib has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Wufie is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Wufie is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Dib couldn't care less - he's delighted!

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bjj Is My Game was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Is My Game takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

and Rizzo Jr holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Rizzo Jr lands a hook to the side of the head. Rizzo Jr lands an elbow inside that Is My Game shrugs off.
 It looks like Bjj Is My Game has been cut. Rizzo Jr lands an uppercut. Rizzo Jr comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. A nice glancing elbow lands by Rizzo Jr. Rizzo Jr lands with a light punch inside. A nice glancing elbow lands by Rizzo Jr.
 Is My Game is rocked! Rizzo Jr gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Is My Game is still on wobbly legs! Can Rizzo Jr finish him?
 That has opened up Bjj Is My Game's cut even more. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rizzo Jr creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Is My Game with a big uppercut! Is My Game tries to clinch up but Rizzo Jr pushes him back against the ropes and lands another monster strike that crumples Is My Game to the mat! Is My Game covers up and Rizzo Jr unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Frank Rizzo Jr! A very excited looking Frank Rizzo Jr made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Vera is pulling down on Donatelli's head. It's preventing any offense from Donatelli, at least for the moment. Donatelli engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Donatelli stands and steps away. Vera gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Donatelli fails with the takedown. Donatelli misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Vera throws a body punch but Donatelli moves out of range. Vera lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Vera clinches up against the ropes. Donatelli lands a hook that snaps the head of Vera backwards. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Vera. Vera misses with a body punch.

Vera tries to break free but Donatelli pushes him back against the ropes. A head punch on the inside from Vera fails to land. Vera wants to stall.

 The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Vera closes the distance and clinches. Vera wants to break free but Donatelli has control.
Donatelli jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vera walks away with a smile on his face. Donatelli gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Donatelli shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vera pinned against the ropes. Vera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kirk Donatelli. That's going to take a lot out of him. Donatelli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vera tries to avoid it but Donatelli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vera to the ground. Vera escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kid Vera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Vera!
 It looks like Kirk Donatelli has been cut. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vera, right into the meat.

Vera tries to roll over but Donatelli keeps him under control. Donatelli wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vera keeps working. Donatelli is controlling the pace.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Vera regains full guard. Nicely done. Donatelli sitting in guard, not really doing much. This has been an exciting period of action! Donatelli wants to control from the top but Vera keeps moving. Donatelli tries to free his leg and advance position but Vera is retaining full guard.

Donatelli throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vera's waist but Vera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Donatelli off to one side. Donatelli tries for a takedown but Vera sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Donatelli moves into the clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Vera wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Donatelli has him pressed against the ropes. Vera lands a shoulder strike.

Kid Vera showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kirk Donatelli's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vera effectively controlling the action here. Donatelli tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
And that's the end of the fight! Kid Vera comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Vera winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
