The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva moves in looking to clinch but Bonestorm pushes him off.

Bonestorm gets caught flat footed, as Silva shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Silva throws a strike but Bonestorm rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bonestorm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bonestorm can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Jones in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Scotty Morrison.
