The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Connors changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Perry tries to avoid it but Connors manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Perry to the ground. Perry escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Perry throws a head kick but Connors moves out of range.

Connors has a takedown stuffed. Connors shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Perry manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Perry looking to hit a scissor sweep but Connors is one step ahead there. Perry trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Perry is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Connors is controlling him. Connors wants to get up but he can't break Perry's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Perry lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Connors circles away quickly and effectively. Connors shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mitch Connors. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown by Connors or perhaps it was just good defense by Perry which made him look bad. Perry cracks Connors with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Perry throws a body punch but Connors moves out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Perry fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Connors shoots in looking for a takedown but Perry manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Connors's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Connors is looking to clinch. Perry scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Connors doesn't seem bothered though. Nice takedown defense from Perry. No joy for Connors on that attempt. Perry throws a series of punches but Connors moves out of range. Connors avoids a punch combination nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Mitch Connors will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Connors moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Connors moves into the clinch. Perry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Perry falls off balance throwing a combination
and Connors counters with a single leg into guard. Perry didn't expect that. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Perry can do anything to dispel that myth. Connors stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perry swivels though and keeps the full guard. Perry trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Perry wants to get back to his feet but Connors is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Connors chips away with some ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Connors wants to control from the top but Perry keeps moving. Connors prevents Perry from getting back to his feet.

Connors tries to score a power double leg takedown but Perry sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Connors somewhat. Connors slips a jab and a cross from Perry.

Perry stuffs the takedown. Perry stalks Connors and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Connors's face. Connors staggers backwards, shaken. Perry will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Connors looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Perry throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Perry throws a right hand that Connors ducks under and follows up with a left that Connors also avoids with ease. Connors keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Connors throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Perry tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Connors is in Perry's guard. Perry wants to stand up but Connors is controlling him. Perry is working an open guard so Connors takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Perry postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mitch Connors overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Perry pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Connors is keeping the position for now. Perry postures up in Connors's guard and throws a big left but Connors blocks it. Edson Perry has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Perry trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! Mitch Connors showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Connors, winning every round. Will the judges agree? PE sets himself and nearly takes Petrovas's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Tokito shoots in looking for a takedown. Vera tries to sprawl out of it but Tokito keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vera manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tokito shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vera as he avoids it easily. Tokito takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Vera misses with a few strikes there.
Vera tries to sprawl but Tokito drives through with a takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Tokito thows a huge punch but Vera dodges it nicely.
Vera tries to kick Tokito off but Tokito keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Tokito wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vera keeps working. Tokito slows the pace down in half guard. Vera is doing well to control the position and prevent Tokito from advancing to side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vera is looking to escape.

Caco Vera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tokito doesn't succeed with the takedown and Vera connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Tokito. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tokito shoots and misses and Vera counters with a lovely straight right hand! Vera keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Vera throws a half hearted mid kick. Tokito takes a kick to the side of the head.
Tokito is rocked! Vera lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Tokito falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Learmont trying to control the position but instead, Formality has worked for underhooks and has pushed Learmont into the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Formality. Formality breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Learmont misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Formality moves into the clinch. Formality is trying to force a seperation but Learmont has the dominant position. Learmont pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Learmont buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Formality shoots in for a takedown but Learmont shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Learmont throws a series of strikes that have Formality backpedaling.
Formality is breathing heavily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Formality. Learmont drives through and clinches with Formality against the cage.

Learmont closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Learmont lands in his opponent's guard. Learmont decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Formality, up you get! Learmont instigates a clinch. Learmont tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Learmont is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Formality is defending well for now. Learmont pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Learmont has taken the fight to the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Boobjob. Those never looked like landing. Watkins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Watkins showed some decent athleticism there. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Boobjob wants to get back to his feet. Boobjob is in trouble now - Watkins has advanced to mount! Boobjob is trying desperately to improve position. Boobjob bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Boobjob wants to control from the top but Watkins keeps moving. Boobjob is looking to stand up but Watkins won't let him. Watkins pushes Boobjob off and scrambles back to his feet.

Watkins no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Watkins has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Boobjob off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Watkins pushes Boobjob up against the cage in a clinch. Boobjob tries to break the clinch but Watkins is controlling the position. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spitteri clinches up with Gracie and pushes him back against the cage. Spitteri breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gracie tries for a takedown but Spitteri circles away easily and Spitteri counters with a straight right hand. Gracie with a lazy takedown attempt and Spitteri cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Spitteri moves into the clinch successfully.
Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Spitteri is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Sean Spitteri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlson Gracie. Spitteri's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Spitteri throws a right and a left that Gracie avoids nicely. Gracie fails with the takedown and Spitteri counters with a body kick that stops Gracie in his tracks momentarily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Spitteri drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Gracie is working to avoid the ground and pound but Spitteri connects with a decent elbow.

Now he's in top in Walters's guard. Vera has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Walters looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
