Oliveira ducks under a wild hook from Taylor. Nice defenses there by Taylor. Taylor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Oliveira has time to react. Oliveira on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Taylor throws a series of strikes that have Oliveira backpedaling.
Oliveira takes a shot right to the bread basket. This has been an exciting period of action! Oliveira missing with a left hand there. Taylor was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Taylor lands a left and a right that send Oliveira crashing to the mat, dazed. Taylor thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dexteria misses with a combination
and Horne counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dexteria holds on and takes a little breather. Horne looking to pass the guard. Dexteria keeping moving, preventing Horne from controlling successfully. Dexteria is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Horne wants to pass the guard but Dexteria is keeping the position. Horne preventing the sweep.

Nice defenses there by Horne. Horne has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dexteria finds it's way round the side to connect with Horne's head. Dexteria will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Franklin Dexteria seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horne stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dexteria. A punch combination from Dexteria misses. Good exchange - Horne coming out on top. Dexteria closes the distance and lands a one-two. Horne on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Horne misses with a body shot
and Dexteria counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dexteria throws a jab but it's blocked by Horne. Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dexteria lands a leg kick that knocks Horne off balance momentarily. Oh Horne is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dexteria circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Horne to the canvas! Horne doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Dexteria keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Poor timing from Jokkolainen. Jokkolainen jabs Bechara to the body, keeping him at a distance. Bechara misses with a low kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Herbstreit closes the distance but Macintosh moves to the side and Macintosh counters with a series of strikes. Herbstreit will be more careful next time no doubt. Macintosh fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Herbstreit steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Macintosh. Herbstreit gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Azul has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Masilungan finds it's way round the side to connect with Azul's head. Masilungan misses with a two punch combination.
Azul with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A looping hook to the body misses from Masilungan. Azul does a little dance to reset his feet. Masilungan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Masilungan. Nice shot by Azul. Azul throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Azul misses with a looping right. Masilungan misses with a takedown attempt. Masilungan seems to have got his legs back now. Masilungan manages to regain half guard. Good work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Azul working over Masilungan with some ground and pound. Masilungan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Azul stops Masilungan from getting back to his feet.

Masilungan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Azul circles away quickly and effectively. Masilungan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Azul was well out of range. Poor timing from Masilungan. Azul shoots in for a takedown but Masilungan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That kick from Masilungan tenderised Azul's leg. Masilungan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Azul moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Masilungan throws a leg kick that is checked and Azul counters with a left to the body. Azul looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jed Masilungan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cubensis Azul. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Masilungan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Azul.

Well Azul has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Chan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Survival of the Sickest by Saliva kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Chan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kenzie swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kenzie looks to score with a jab to the body but Chan is just out of range. Kenzie feints a jab promting Chan to slip. Kenzie then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Chan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
And that's the end of the fight! Johnny Chan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hudson Levine! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Levine throws a half hearted mid kick. Le moves out of range of the body kick. Le lets loose with a powerful body kick. Levine will feel that in the morning. Le throws a leg kick but Levine checks it. Levine throws a leg kick but Le sees it coming and checks it nicely. Levine shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Le sprawls well. Le wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Levine gets slowly back to his feet. Le throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Levine stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Levine tries a low kick but Le avoids it. Le really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Le misses with a straight right. Le stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Levine. Levine misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Levine throws a low kick but Le moves out of range easily. Levine looks to land a body kick but Le moved away. Le scores with a leg kick.
A good leg kick by Levine. Levine takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Le throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A low kick from Levine is predictable there and Le counters with a nice body shot. Levine takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Levine takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Levine looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Levine takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Le thuds his shin into the meat of Levine's side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A thudding body kick lands there by Le!
The fighters circle momentarily. Le darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Le scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Levine doesn't seem bothered though. Le is looking to wear down Levine with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Le throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Levine throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A jab from Le does it's job there. Levine tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Le lands a body shot.
Le dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Levine. That did some damage! Le looks for the body kick but Levine saw that one coming. Le darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Levine throws a low kick, looking for Le's leg but Le calmly moves out of range. Levine is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Le lands a nice leg kick that just misses Levine's sensitive parts. Levine walks into a jab. Levine thows a leg kick but Le checks it and Le counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Levine thinking. Le misses with a straight left. Levine with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Le to score with a decent uppercut. Le lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Le circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Levine drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Le follows Levine to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
