2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Taylor! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Jason Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams shoots in looking for a takedown. Taylor tries to sprawl out of it but Williams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Taylor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Williams takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Williams misses with a wild body shot. Williams on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Taylor stuns Williams with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Williams is looking to clinch. A big left from Taylor misses. Taylor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Taylor slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Taylor scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. That's one minute gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Taylor there. Taylor keeps the fight on the outside. Williams is looking to clinch but Taylor is avoiding it.
A nice combination there by Taylor.
Williams tries to clinch up. Taylor connects with a body shot. Taylor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams. Taylor goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Williams closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Williams is rocked! Taylor sizes up Williams with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Williams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Taylor cracks Williams on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Williams falls backwards against the cage. Taylor follows up with more strikes that drop Williams to his knees. Taylor keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Williams! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Taylor! In his post fight interview, Jason Taylor started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dude slips a jab and a cross from Tyrant.
A lazy left from Tyrant finds it's target. Tyrant fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dude ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tyrant misses with a lunging right hand
and Dude counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Dude keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tyrant. A telegraphed right hand from Dude misses the target. Dude misses with a low kick.
Tyrant uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dude. Dude ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tyrant uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dude.

He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Tyrant lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dude circles away quickly and effectively. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Dude might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. A swing and a miss from Tyrant. Tyrant cracks Dude with an open hand slap. Tyrant throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dude lands a couple of digs. Dude wants to pass the guard but Tyrant is keeping the position. Tyrant has momentary wrist control but Dude slips an elbow through the middle. That was a close second round but I would say that Justin Dude will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Justin Dude's cut. That's time! Dude's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Dude shoots in looking for a takedown but Tyrant manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dude's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Dude scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Dude takes one on the chin but seems OK.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bishop is trying to keep Higgins in close.

Bishop utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Higgins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bishop trying to keep a closed guard but Higgins is proving a slippery customer.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bishop is on top in guard.

Ryan Hoover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hoover lands a head kick. Great smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Hoover tries a head kick but it misses.
Hoover connects with a good right hand that stumbles Great. Great circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A big left from Great misses. Hoover fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Hoover throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Great counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hoover!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Great is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hoover is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hoover flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Great anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hoover and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Great slips an arm under Hoover chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Great has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Great is squeezing on Hoover like an anaconda would it's prey. Hoover fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Beast tries to bum rush Nealy with a series of wild strikes but Nealy uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Beast is breathing heavily. A jab from Nealy finds it's way through Beast's defenses. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Beast blocks a jab. Nealy misses the shot to the body. Nealy sends Beast crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Nealy is motioning to the referee to let Beast up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Beast drops his hands for a split second and Nealy immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Beast face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Nealy follows up with a right hand that knocks Beast into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Super slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Super clobbers Souza with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Super throws a jab when Souza was well out of range. Good standup being displayed there by Souza as he connects with a hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Super lands a slapping body shot.

Super has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Souza tries to bum rush Super with a series of wild strikes but Super uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Souza looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Super is pawing at Souza, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Souza's nose. Souza is badly hurt! Super pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Souza tries desperately to hold on but Super is relentless in his assault! As Souza receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Super away and this one is in the books!
