The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dick works Rua's body with a nice hook. Dick lands a jab to the head.
Rua misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dick.
Rua takes a shot right to the bread basket. Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dick swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dick wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Dick scores with a sloppy right hand. Rua should have avoided that one. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dick digs a good hook to Rua's body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nielsen misses with a lunging right hand
and Carter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nielsen moves out of range of the strikes. Carter has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Carter there as he acknowledges the shot. Donk. Nielsen catches Carter right on the button with a cross. Nielsen lands a lovely overhand right. Carter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nielsen was well out of range. Poor timing from Carter. A telegraphed right hand from Nielsen misses the target. Carter moves out of range as Nielsen strikes. Nielsen missing with a left hand there. Carter was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Carter scores with a decent looking hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nielsen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Two more big strikes from Nielsen and Carter crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

Fabbri shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fabbri showed some decent athleticism there. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Oliveira tries to kick Fabbri off but Fabbri keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
