Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Bongo Bongo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Powell! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bongo circles away quickly and effectively. Bongo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Powell paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bongo doesn't manage to clinch there - Powell circles away.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Bongo - that will leave a mark!
Bongo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Powell throws a right and a left that Bongo avoids nicely. Bongo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Powell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Powell clinches with his opponent.
Bongo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bongo tries to land a front kick but Powell steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Powell misses with a double jab.
Powell looks gassed! Powell throws out a loose jab but Bongo uses good head movement to avoid it. Bongo throws a leg kick which misses Powell's front leg but catches the back leg as Powell tries to avoid it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Powell throws a lazy right hand but Bongo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bongo tries to clinch but Powell moves out of range. Bongo is looking to clinch but Powell is avoiding it.
Bongo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Bongo connects with a high kick. Bongo fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Powell takes a kick to the side of the head. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bongo prevents Powell from breaking the clinch. Bongo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bongo tries to clinch but Powell is having none of it. Bongo tries to close the distance and clinch but Powell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Powell shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bongo napping and manages to drive through into side control! Powell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bongo keeps working. Powell connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bongo some visible discomfort.
Powell tries to score with some ground and pound. Bongo controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Powell is chipping away with strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Powell wants to control but Bongo is keeping him busy. Powell is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bongo's shoulder. That is not cool. Bongo is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Powell working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Bongo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Powell connects with a decent elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Powell connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bongo some visible discomfort.
Bongo on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Powell remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Powell is looking to take a break and control but Bongo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Powell is putting a hurting on Bongo here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Powell cracks Bongo with a big elbow. Bongo avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Powell. Powell is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bongo has escaped the position, nice work there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bongo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Robert Powell will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Powell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bongo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Powell somewhat. Bongo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Bongo throws a front kick that sends Powell stumbling back into the ropes. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Powell pushes Bongo up against the ropes in a clinch. Powell fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Powell on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Powell has Bongo pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Bongo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Bongo Bongo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Powell. Bongo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Powell closes the distance and clinches. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Powell working hard to break the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Powell has a couple of punches blocked by Bongo.

Bongo taking a breather. Powell is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Bongo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Bongo is trying to maintain a safe position but Powell gets an underhook and turns Bongo into the ropes. Bongo stops a takedown attempt from Powell.

Bongo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bongo tries to clinch but Powell moves out of range. Bongo doesn't manage to clinch there - Powell circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Powell. Powell thows a body shot but no joy. Bongo scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Powell decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Powell slips a nice elbow through Bongo's hands, connecting with Bongo's forehead. Bongo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Powell on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Powell thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bongo's head. Bongo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bongo tries to get out of the position. Powell is trying to control the action in half guard but Bongo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Powell looks to land a strike but Bongo avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Powell postures up in Bongo's guard and throws a big left but Bongo blocks it. Powell throws an elbow that misses. Bongo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Powell's guard. Nice move by Bongo! Powell is trying to control the position but Bongo postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bongo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bongo trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Powell looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Robert Powell. Powell misses with a leg kick. Bongo leaves Powell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bongo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Powell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bongo gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bongo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Powell clinches. Bongo gets underhooks to prevent Powell's takedown attempt.
Powell tries to pull guard but Bongo holds him up against the ropes and eventually Powell drops back down to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kevesi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kevesi stands up and we're back to a striking position. Kevesi shoots in for a double leg but Nsembo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kevesi tries to move into range but Nsembo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Kevesi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Nsembo looks gassed! Kevesi raining down hammerfists from mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nsembo blocking the ground and pound. Nsembo is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
Kevesi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nsembo is looking to escape. Kevesi pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Kevesi with shots to the head and body - Nsembo looks very uncomfortable down there. Kevesi looking to secure an arm triangle but Nsembo defends it well. Kevesi raining down hammerfists from mount. Kevesi working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Nsembo looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Kevesi! Submission of the night perhaps?

Charcoal gets through Typhon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Charcoal pulls guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Charcoal is on top in guard.

Charcoal landing shots from mount. Charcoal misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Typhon is looking to wear down Charcoal with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Typhon misses with a shot to the body and Typhon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A big right from Charcoal misses. Typhon is looking to chop away at Charcoal's legs. Adelphos Typhon is winning the standup battle so far. Charcoal closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Typhon's guard. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Charcoal works over Typhon's head and body with a nice combination. Charcoal takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cekada throws a hook but Reynolds avoids it easily. Nice defenses there by Cekada. Cekada lands a really nice looking cross but Reynolds seems unphased.
Cekada lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Reynolds backs up against the ropes.
Reynolds moves forwards but Cekada connects with a nice, crisp jab. Reynolds pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reynolds misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cekada loads up on a big right hand but Reynolds slips the punch. Reynolds gets a clinch. Reynolds blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Cekada on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Reynolds saw that one coming. The fighters circling - Cekada throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Reynolds throws a right hand that Cekada ducks under and follows up with a left that Cekada also avoids with ease. Reynolds missing with a left hand there. Cekada was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Reynolds staying out of range there. Cekada shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Reynolds napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Cekada scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Reynolds is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Cekada can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kain Saint! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferro throws a leg kick which misses Saint's front leg but catches the back leg as Saint tries to avoid it. Ferro ducks under a wild hook from Saint. Ferro tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Saint is able to avoid easily. Saint lands an overhand right. Saint lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Ferro tries to move into range but Saint moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Saint checks a leg kick. Saint ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Saint misses with a body shot.
Saint looks to score with a jab to the body but Ferro is just out of range. Ferro misses with a jab, cross combination.
Saint throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Saint jabs Ferro to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ferro defending well as Saint loads up on a big left hand. Saint lands an overhand right. Saint rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ferro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saint scores with a push kick. Ferro is breathing heavily. Ferro avoids a kick to the body.
Ferro throws a body kick that misses. Ferro slips under a jab from Saint. Saint misses with a wild body shot. Saint thuds a left hand into Ferro's body. Saint pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ferro is out of range and Saint settles back down. Saint throws a nice outside leg kick. Saint connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Saint scores with a nice strike. Saint connects with an inside leg kick. Ferro takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Saint throws a low kick but Ferro moves out of range easily. A swing and a miss from Saint. Ferro checks a leg kick nicely. Saint with a jab. Saint scores with a jab. Ferro acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Nice jab there from Saint. Ferro walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Ferro uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Saint. Ferro keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Saint ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Saint connects with a solid leg kick. Ferro throws a combination that misses letting Saint counter with a right hand. Saint throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Saint.
Saint tries to score with a low kick but Ferro moves his leg out of the way. Saint swings widly with a right hand
and Ferro counters with a head kick. That will keep Saint thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Saint throws a leg kick that misses. Saint connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ferro's hands. Saint just misses with a punch to the body.
Good shot there by Saint. Saint with a nice cross. A head kick by Saint misses and Ferro counters with a big head kick but Saint shrugs it off. Saint does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Saint catches Ferro with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ferro blocks a low kick nicely. Saint throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferro sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Saint with a hook. Saint throws a leg kick but Ferro moved away. Saint scores with a leg kick.
Ferro shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Saint fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ferro throws out a leg kick but Saint moves out of range and Ferro only half commits. That kick from Saint tenderised Ferro's leg. Ferro is trying to keep his angry face on. Saint throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferro sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ferro takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ferro tries to work over Saint's front leg with a kick but Saint checks it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Saint throws a leg kick but Ferro sees it coming and checks it nicely. Kain Saint seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Saint goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Saint lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kain Saint dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Saint tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Nice jab there from Ferro. Saint with a nice cross. Saint has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Saint misses with the combination.
Ferro checks a low kick from Saint. The fighters circling - Saint throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jab, jab by Saint - just one landing. Ferro tries to clinch up but Saint circles away and keeps his distance. Ferro walks forward, straight into a front kick from Saint. Saint lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kain Saint seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Saint connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Ferro misses with a series of wild punches.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Saint, right into the meat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saint wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Saint throws a jab when Ferro was well out of range. Ferro misses with a combination
and Saint connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Saint's corner calls for a 1-2. Saint obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Saint throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ferro counters with a head kick. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Ferro might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Saint is looking to slow Ferro down with leg kicks. A shot to the liver by Saint. Beautiful body shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Saint catches Ferro with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A punch lands to the side of Ferro 's head but he takes it in his stride. Saint lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Saint stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Saint throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Donk. Saint catches Ferro right on the button with a cross. Ferro looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Saint dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Ferro is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Saint is looking to slow Ferro down with leg kicks. Ferro on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Saint. Saint obviously looking to wear him down.

and Saint counters with a nice uppercut. Both fighters circling a little - Saint finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Saint lands with a cross.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Saint lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ferro will feel that in the morning. Oh Ferro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Good leg kick by Saint there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Look low, kick high! Saint uses the oldest trick in the book to send Ferro tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Saint is absolutely delighted - when Ferro wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Inoue is trying hard to land a takedown here. Edward sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Inoue moves away from the strike by Edward. Inoue looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Edward is fending him off so far but Inoue persists. Nope, Edward circles away and we're back to standing. Inoue lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Nice sprawl there from Edward as Inoue shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuya Inoue. That's going to take a lot out of him. Edward takes a shot right to the bread basket. This has been an exciting period of action! Inoue misses with a body kick. Edward lands with a thumping leg kick.
Edward looks to score with a jab to the body but Inoue is just out of range. No joy there for Edward, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Inoue gets a double leg takedown into Edward's guard. Inoue looking to pass the guard. Inoue is working hard here to advance position. Inoue drops back, looking for a kneebar! Edward looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Edward looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Edward! Inoue is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Edward's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inoue looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Edward is trying to control. Inoue wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Inoue is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Edward pulls his head out easily. Inoue is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inoue makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Inoue. Edward got a little sloppy there for a moment and Inoue has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Edward has managed to get both his arms back between Inoue's legs - danger averted. Inoue escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Edward gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Edward has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Inoue to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Edward is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Inoue pulls down on the head and he's put Edward to sleep! This one is all over!
