Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Benny McCartny! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Borg! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borg fails in his attempt to clinch. McCartny moves out of range of the body kick from Borg.
Borg wants to clinch up but McCartny keeps it at a distance. Borg tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. McCartny manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McCartny defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Borg. Borg shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. McCartny has Borg up against the cage in a clinch.
Borg jumps guard but McCartny turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Benny McCartny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Borg. Borg pulls guard effortlessly. Borg trying to keep a closed guard but McCartny is proving a slippery customer.
McCartny controlling from the top position. McCartny drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McCartny jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Borg trying to control the position.
Borg is working an open guard so McCartny takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Borg tries for a takedown but McCartny circles away easily and McCartny counters into the clinch. Nicely done. McCartny gets control of Borg's arms and successfully pulls guard. McCartny will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. There's a bit of a scramble here and now McCartny is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Borg looking for a sweep. Not yet Borg, not yet. McCartny controlling from the top position. Borg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCartny. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. McCartny works a leg free and moves into half guard. McCartny moves into full mount! Borg won't be happy about that! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McCartny landing shots from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McCartny raining down shots from the mount!
It looks like Mark Borg has been cut. Borg can't escape the position.
McCartny could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCartny looking to control and managing it successfully. McCartny working the ground and pound effectively.
McCartny has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Borg is forced to tap!

4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Diego Guivarra! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harrison stuffs the takedown attempt from Guivarra. Guivarra gets slowly back to his feet. Guivarra dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Guivarra fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Guivarra doesn't succeed with the takedown and Harrison counters with a thumping low kick. Joe Harrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Guivarra. Harrison lands a big right hand that sends Guivarra crashing to the mat! Harrison stays standing though and waves Guivarra back to his feet!
It looks like Diego Guivarra has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Harrison dodges the punch combination from Guivarra.
Guivarra has his takedown stuffed and Harrison counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Harrison. Guivarra looks gassed! Harrison creates a bit of distance for himself, with Guivarra pressed up against the cage and cracks Guivarra with a massive uppercut! Guivarra goes down! He's out cold! Wow, that was some serious power there by Harrison!

18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Hammer Mack! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bunoyan misses with a leg kick and Mack makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Bunoyan misses the body punch enabling Mack to counter with a crisp jab. Bunoyan fails with the takedown and Mack counters with a flying knee. Nice. Bunoyan is looking to clinch but Mack is avoiding it.
Bunoyan shoots for a double leg takedown but Mack sprawls well. He's pushed Bunoyan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bunoyan with a lazy takedown attempt and Bunoyan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Bunoyan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bunoyan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mack pinned against the cage. Mack gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bunoyan wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bunoyan throws a head kick that misses and Mack counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bunoyan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bunoyan with a lazy takedown attempt and Mack counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like George Bunoyan has been cut. George Bunoyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bunoyan takes a kick to the side of the head. Bunoyan darts in trying to clinch and Mack counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Bunoyan is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mack pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bunoyan throws a combination that misses and Mack counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bunoyan shoots and misses and Mack makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Bunoyan really felt that one! Mack closes the distance and lands a one-two. Mack works over Bunoyan's head and body with a nice combination. Mack lands with a slapping head kick. Bunoyan misses with a body punch
enabling Mack to counter with a crisp jab. Mack displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mack bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bunoyan's head backwards.
George Bunoyan's cut is getting worse. Mack lands a big head kick that sends Bunoyan to the canvas! Mack follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hammer Mack! A victorious Hammer Mack thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maxwell scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Pavlis tries to get to full guard but Maxwell has control of the leg. Maxwell not landing any meaningful shots this time. Maxwell slips a nice elbow through Pavlis's hands, connecting with Pavlis's forehead. Maxwell missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Maxwell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Maxwell lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Pavlis trying to control from the bottom.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Maxwell lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Maxwell seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Pavlis is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
