3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ralph Gordon! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gordon gets a takedown into half guard. Gordon is working for a submission of some sort.
Gordon with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Gordon tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Steel. Steel wants to improve his position but Gordon is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel is trying to stand up here but Gordon is controlling him well. Steel is looking to get back to full guard here but Gordon has managed to pass to side control instead. Gordon decides to stand back up. Gordon steps back and let's Steel get back to his feet. Steel gets tackled into the cage by Gordon. Gordon maintains the clinch. Gordon blocking some punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gordon is trying to break the clinch but Steel has him pressed against the cage. Gordon wants to get back to striking at distance but Steel won't allow it.

Gordon tries to pull guard but Steel forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Gordon blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Steel throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gordon blocks it with crossed arms. Gordon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Steel throws the kick towards the body but Gordon avoids it. Steel fails with a takedown attempt. Gordon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel wants to clinch. A head kick misses from Steel. Steel misses with a body kick. Nice takedown defense from Gordon. No joy for Steel on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stirling Steel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gordon throws a wild body kick that Steel sees coming a mile off. Steel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gordon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Steel.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gordon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gordon shoots in and bounces Steel off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gordon stays in close to Steel's body and controls the position. Steel looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Steel is breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Steel has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gordon is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Steel. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gordon gets to mount! Steel was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ralph Gordon dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gordon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Steel swats him away and circles back towards the center. No luck with that takedown attempt from Steel. Steel moves into the clinch. Gordon is trying to maintain a safe position but Steel gets an underhook and turns Gordon into the cage. Steel is looking to take this one to the mat. Steel wants to break free but Gordon has control.

Steel trying to control but Gordon is working from the bottom. Gordon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Steel loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Steel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gordon on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gordon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Steel is one step ahead there. Gordon has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Gordon throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

We're going to have a standup here because Stirling Steel wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Gordon moves in looking to clinch but Steel pushes him off.

Steel wants to control but Gordon is having none of it. Gordon looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Steel is in a horrible position here. Gordon smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gordon cracks Steel with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Steel working to try and regain half guard.
Gordon trying to control but Steel is having none of it. Steel is trying to escape the mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gordon looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steel loads up on a big right hand but Gordon slips the punch. Steel shoots for a double leg takedown but Gordon sprawls well. He's pushed Steel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Steel has managed to clinch.

Gordon pulls Steel in close to prevent any damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Gordon trying to control the position.

Steel had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Steel throws a lazy body kick and Gordon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Gordon lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gordon slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Steel is trying to control Gordon's posture but Gordon avoids it. Gordon is chipping away with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steel is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Gordon trying to control the position but Steel is working away. Steel can't do much from the bottom here. Steel is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gordon off and has taken his back!

Gordon dives in and grabs Steel's left leg, looking for a takedown. Steel pushes down on Gordon's head and hops out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gordon fails with the takedown. This has been an exciting period of action! Steel fails with a takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Ralph Gordon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gordon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Weiss tries to land a front kick but Davis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Davis moves out of range as Weiss throws a body kick.
Davis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Weiss counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Davis fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Davis fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Weiss moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Davis fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Davis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Weiss paws at him with a jab and circles away. Davis misses the jab.

A nice leg kick lands there from Weiss. Davis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Davis gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Weiss. Weiss moves away from the strike by Davis. Davis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Weiss counters with a nice uppercut. Nice body kick from Weiss. Davis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Weiss looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Davis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Weiss defends it nicely.

He used the cage to his advantage there. Weiss lands with a short head shot on the inside. Weiss lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Weiss scores with a nice hook to the head. Weiss working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Weiss lands with a light punch inside.

Weiss tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davis paws at him with a jab and circles away. Weiss pushes Davis away with a front kick. Weiss moves into the clinch. Weiss lands a body punch. Weiss lands a nice uppercut. Davis wants to take the fight to the mat but Weiss manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Weiss lands on the inside with an uppercut. Weiss scores with a hook to the body. Weiss lands with a short shot to the head. Weiss lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Weiss lands on the inside with an uppercut. Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Weiss dips a shoulder and cracks Davis with a mighty uppercut! Davis falls back against the cage and Weiss unloads with a barrage of strikes! Davis is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Weiss screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Houses trying to control the position from guard on top but Crazy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Houses in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Houses slips nicely into half guard. Houses is trying to control. Crazy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Crazy punching from the bottom.

Lee keeps the fight on the outside. Lee misses with an uppercut. Hick saw that one coming. Hick goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Hick wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance. Lee scores with a spinning back kick! A jab from Lee finds it's way through Hick's defenses. Hick thumps Lee with a low kick. Hick feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lee's calf. Lee looks to land a body kick but Hick moved away. Lee walks into a straight right hand from Hick. Hick misses with a kick to the body and Lee counters with a big head kick but Hick shrugs it off. Lee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hick is looking to clinch. A kick lands to the mid section there for Hick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hick tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hick throws a nice inside leg kick. Hick tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hick throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Lee is rocked!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Owen Lee's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bill Hick! After the fight, Bill Hick was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
