Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Owen Camas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Campbell! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Campbell but Campbell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Campbell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Camas gets back to half guard. Camas wants to control but Campbell is keeping busy and won't allow it. Campbell tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Campbell is just content to waste time from the top position. Camas takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Campbell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Camas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Camas has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Campbell is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Camas. You can see the frustration on Camas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Camas prevents Campbell from improving position. Campbell controls the position. Campbell tries to get to his feet but Camas is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Campbell in his guard. Campbell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Camas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Camas keeping moving, preventing Campbell from controlling successfully.

Campbell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Camas working a defensive guard here.

House will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Austin fails with the takedown. Austin is looking to land body kicks. A swing and a miss from Austin. Austin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Conner displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Austin. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randall Austin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Conner lunges at Austin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Austin's hand. The fighters circle momentarily. Conner darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Austin looks to score with a jab to the body but Conner is just out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Conner cracks Austin with an uppercut from hell and Austin crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Conner's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

 It looks like Randall Austin has been cut. Conner sitting in guard here, content to control. Oh Austin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lack.
A combination from Lack does no damage. Lack takes a swing at Silva's ribcage but misses. Lack throws a right and a left that both miss. Silva tries to clinch up but Lack circles away and keeps his distance. Silva throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silva tries to clinch but Lack is having none of it. A slow jab from Lack misses its intended target. Lack throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Silva dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Silva dodges the punch combination from Lack.

The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silva gets off balance looking for a body kick and Lack cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lack paws at him with a jab and circles away. Shane Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lack misses with a two punch combination.
This has been an exciting period of action! Lack keeps the fight on the outside. Lack throws a wild body kick that Silva sees coming a mile off. Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lack paws at him with a jab and circles away. Silva wants to clinch up but Lack keeps it at a distance. Lack takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. A left lands for Silva. Lack misses the jab. Lack fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away. Lack throws a leg kick but Silva moved away. Jab, jab by Lack - just one landing. Silva tries to clinch up but Lack circles away and keeps his distance. Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lack swats him away and circles back towards the center. Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Lack swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Silva lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Lack misses with an uppercut. Silva saw that one coming.

With the fighters up against the cage, Silva throws an elbow but misses. Silva blocks a body shot from Lack.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva lands a damaging elbow. Silva missing with knees to the body.
Lack tries to land knees in the clinch but Silva avoids the damage to the body. A frustrated look appears on Lack's face as he tries to break the clinch. Lack is looking to break free of the clinch but Silva has double underhooks.
Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lack with a body punch. A glancing blow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva rushes Lack and presses him up against the cage. Silva scores with a knee to the head.
Lack wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Silva has him pressed against the cage.
Lack's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lack stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Silva. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lack paws at him with a jab and circles away. Shane Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva wants to clinch. Lack shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Lack's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Shane Silva will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Silva clinches up with Lack and pushes him back against the cage. Lack is pushing Silva up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Silva is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lack is defending well for now.

Lack wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Silva is breathing heavily.

Lack feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Lack postures up and lands a big shot to Silva's brow. Lack throws a big right hand that misses. Lack with a nice head shot there.
Lack drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Silva dives on top into guard. Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lack. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skantze Jr shoots in and drives through. Buckle sprawls well. Buckle lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. A swing and a miss from Buckle. Skantze Jr drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Buckle looking to score a takedown here. Skantze Jr is defending well but Buckle drives through and ends up in Skantze Jr's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Buckle has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Skantze Jr is proving hard to escape from. Buckle works a leg free and moves into half guard. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Buckle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Martini bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Martini comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Gravity throws a series of punches but Martini avoids them all with ease. Gravity keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
