Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Barry Obomba! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Huey Law! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Obomba keeps the fight on the outside. Obomba takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Law fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A looping hook to the body misses from Obomba. Law does a little dance to reset his feet. Obomba connects with a body shot that sends Law's belly button to the back.
Law clinches up with Obomba and pushes him back against the cage. Obomba blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Law pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Obomba will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Obomba throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Huey Law seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Obomba throws a low kick but Law moves out of range easily. Law misses with a body kick. Sloppy strikes from Obomba. Those never looked like landing. Law walks into a left hand. Law doesn't manage to clinch there - Obomba circles away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Przemyslaw Micun will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sthowp tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Verne paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sthowp moves to clinch but Verne breaks away letting Verne counter with a right hand. Verne throws a leg kick but Sthowp sees it coming and checks it nicely. Verne throws a low kick, looking for Sthowp's leg but Sthowp calmly moves out of range. Verne moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Sthowp uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Verne. Verne misses with an attempted mid kick.

That was a close round but I would say that Jules Verne will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Verne counters with a takedown into side control. Verne misses with the ground and pound. Verne is looking to take a break and control but Sthowp is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Verne decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sthowp to his feet.
