The bell rings for round one and we are underway! John misses with the combination.
John throws a sloppy head kick and Ericsson moves out of range easily. John lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by John.
It looks like Sonny Ericsson has been cut. John walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. John takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. John missing with a left hand there. Ericsson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. John shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. John throws a right and a left that Ericsson avoids nicely. John throws a sloppy head kick and Ericsson counters with a good low kick that John was not able to check. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Ericsson lands a leg kick that knocks John off balance momentarily. This has been an exciting period of action! Ericsson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Ericsson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Ericsson pushes John up against the cage in a clinch. Ericsson keeps control of John as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. John wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ericsson has him pressed against the cage. Ericsson lands a nice elbow. Ericsson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ericsson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A shot to the liver by Ericsson. Beautiful body shot. John lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ericsson circles away quickly and effectively. John throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ericsson. John is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ericsson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ericsson lands a really nice looking cross but John seems unphased.
John throws a head kick but Ericsson moves out of range.
John walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Ericsson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as John backs up against the cage.
A looping hook to the body misses from John. Ericsson does a little dance to reset his feet. Ericsson connects with a solid leg kick. Oliver John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ericsson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from John. John moves in looking to clinch but Ericsson pushes him off. John throws a left and a right that both miss
and John takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. John really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. John is breathing heavily. Good standup being displayed there by Ericsson as he connects with a hook. Ericsson blocks a head kick by John.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. John lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ericsson circles away quickly and effectively. John takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
John falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ericsson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A good leg kick by Ericsson. Ericsson lands a front kick. Decent striking displayed by Ericsson there. Ericsson connects with a single shot there. Ericsson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
John is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ericsson lands a head shot. Oh John is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ericsson gets in close and tags John with a short punch that almost sends John to the mat! Oh John is in big trouble! He turns his back on Ericsson, trying to create some distance but Ericsson rushes him, striking wildly and John goes down! The referee tackles Ericsson into the cage to end the fight! Ericsson is one violent man!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Renton manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Thunder on his heels. He'll look to pass Thunder's guard now, I'm sure. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Thunder controls Renton momentarily but Renton frees himself. Renton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Renton throwing strikes but missing. Renton working some strikes from top position. Thunder tries to land a sweep but no joy. Renton pushing down on Thunder's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Thunder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Renton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Renton performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Renton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thunder keeps working. Renton controlling the action here. Thunder avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Renton. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thunder is refusing to be controlled, as Renton sits in half guard. Renton is looking to stall here but Thunder recovers full guard. Renton loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Renton trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Thunder preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Thunder utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. This has been an exciting period of action! Renton is in close to Thunder's body, working some short punches and elbows. Renton's corner is telling him to maintain position. Renton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Renton loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Thunder is trying to control the position but Renton postures up. Kill A Mocking Bird tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chestnut paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kill A Mocking Bird takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Ricardo Silva struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tolls throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease. Silva fails with a takedown attempt. Silva tries for a takedown but Tolls sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tolls digs a good body shot into Silva's ribs. Tolls lands with a shot to the body. Tolls lands a left and a right that send Silva crashing to the mat, dazed. Tolls thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Ricardo Silva has been cut. Silva looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Silva seems to have recovered his senses. Tolls pushes Silva back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
That has opened up Ricardo Silva's cut even more. Tolls lands a big right hand that drops Silva! The killer instinct kicks in and Tolls finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Tolls!

After winning the bout, For Whom The Bell Tolls thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borgia thows a left - swing and a miss! Borgia takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Borgia moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A looping hook to the body misses from Borgia. Velazquez does a little dance to reset his feet. Velazquez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Velazquez misses with a two punch combination.
Velazquez cracks Borgia with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Velazquez looks to throw the jab but Borgia is out of range. Borgia swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Borgia misses with an uppercut. Velazquez saw that one coming. Velazquez lands a hook that stumbles Borgia back into the cage. Velazquez follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Borgia to the canvas! Velazquez pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Borgia has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Creyonte feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Creyonte is looking to work some ground and pound but Cadile has wrist control. Creyonte throws a big elbow that misses. Creyonte with a flurry of punches that miss. Cadile utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Creyonte trying to control but Cadile is working from the bottom. Cadile being controlled here, momentarily. Creyonte throwing strikes from guard but Cadile blocks nicely.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Cadile is looking for a kimura here.
Cadile thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Creyonte is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cadile's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cadile's back! Cadile looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

This has been an exciting period of action! Cadile has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Creyonte. Cadile covering up well under a series of strikes from Creyonte. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Creyonte misses with an elbow to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Koral Creyonte dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
