The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nog tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hayes misses with a jab, cross combination.

Hayes lands a left and a right that send Nog crashing to the mat, dazed. Hayes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Nog is rocked!

It looks like Big Nog has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Nog is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Heredia drops back, looking for a kneebar! Silva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Silva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Silva!

Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
