0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Daly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Sauders! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sauders paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sauders fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Daly is out of range. Sauders punishes Daly's body with a nice straight punch. Sauders connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Daly doesn't manage to clinch there - Sauders circles away.
Sauders throws a one two combo.
Daly takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Daly is looking to clinch. Sauders keeps the fight on the outside. Sauders shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Daly sprawls well. Daly wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sauders gets slowly back to his feet. Sauders throws a leg kick but Daly sees it coming and checks it nicely. Daly tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Daly tries to close the distance and clinch but Sauders swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A left and a right from Sauders both land. Nice combination. Sauders scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Daly tries to clinch but Sauders is having none of it. Daly throws a series of punches but Sauders moves out of range. Daly moves to clinch but Sauders breaks away and Sauders scores with a counter punch that sends Daly to the canvas! Sauders smells blood - he's punishing Daly with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Daly has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Anthony Cohen! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cohen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Cohen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Cohen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Causey's waist but Causey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cohen off to one side. Causey defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cohen. Charlie Causey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Cohen. Causey moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Causey moves in looking to clinch but Cohen pushes him off. A right-left combo lands from Causey. Causey fails in his attempt to clinch. Causey tries to clinch up.
Cohen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Cohen advances position into side control! Cohen prevents Causey from escaping the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Causey takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Cohen in side control lands a decent elbow.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Cohen has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Causey! Cohen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. The referee warns Causey that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Cohen lands a heavy elbow. Cohen landing shots from mount. Causey squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Causey is breathing heavily. A nice elbow there by Cohen. Cohen landing strikes from the mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cohen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Causey hang on? Causey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cohen on the ground. Cohen looking to finish Causey with some ground and pound. This is bad for Causey! Cohen landing strikes, looking to finish!
 Causey is rocked! Cohen is landing with some decent strikes but Causey is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Oh Causey is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Cohen lands a big shot to the head and Causey winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jagatic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Machida moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jagatic is breathing heavily. Sloppy strikes from Jagatic. Those never looked like landing. Machida lands with a straight right. Jagatic didn't see that one coming. Mario Jagatic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Machida plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Jagatic to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Jagatic just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Dexter Cross told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one!  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Taylor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cross pinned against the cage. Cross gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Taylor shoots for a takedown but Cross saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Taylor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Taylor fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Cross throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Taylor tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cross is in Taylor's guard. Cross looks gassed! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Taylor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cross preventing the sweep.
Taylor manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Taylor advances to half guard.

Taylor is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cross doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Taylor.

Taylor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Taylor throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Taylor might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Cross not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Taylor sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cross's guard. Taylor frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Cross has given up his back.
Taylor is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Cross knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Cross for a finish. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Knepp, right into the meat.
Lopez looks to score with a jab to the body but Knepp is just out of range. Lopez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Knepp digs a good body shot into Lopez's ribs. Knepp throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lopez throws a lazy right hand but Knepp sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Lopez.
Lopez is looking to clinch but Knepp is avoiding it.
Lopez is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Knepp fails with the takedown. Lopez pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Knepp misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lopez tries to clinch but Knepp is having none of it. A combination from Knepp does no damage. Lopez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Knepp manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Knepp tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lopez just stands there and leans against the cage. Lopez connects with a knee to the head.

Knepp gets control of Lopez's arms and successfully pulls guard. Knepp will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Lopez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Knepp escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lopez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lopez moves in looking to clinch but Knepp pushes him off. Lopez wants to clinch but Knepp slips to the side and Knepp counters with a right hand to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lopez lands a jab to the head.

That was a close round but I would say that Jebidiah Knepp will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Knepp gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lopez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Lopez throws out a loose jab but Knepp uses good head movement to avoid it. Knepp is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Knepp shoots in and gets a takedown into Lopez's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lopez is pulling down on Knepp's head to control his posture. Lopez manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lopez can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Knepp is looking to escape. Lopez is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Knepp sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Lopez is keen to just control but Knepp is a slippery customer. Knepp is trying to get back to full guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Lopez wants to control but Knepp is keeping him busy.
Knepp looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Knepp wants to improve his position but Lopez is controlling well.
Knepp moves into full guard.
Knepp lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lopez!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Knepp working away from the top, dropping strikes. Knepp thowing shots but they're missing. Lopez tries to lock up and control but Knepp gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Knepp punishing his opponent with strikes. Knepp looking to control and managing it successfully. Knepp tries to control but Lopez wriggling away. Knepp looking to control and managing it successfully.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Lopez is wriggling around trying to escape.

Knepp blocks a jab. A slow jab from Lopez misses its intended target. Knepp lands a slapping body shot.
Knepp smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Lopez throws a series of punches but Knepp avoids them all with ease. A head kick by Lopez misses and Knepp cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Knepp gets a takedown into half guard. Knepp takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Knepp is thwarting Lopez's attempts to control the position. Lopez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Knepp wants to control but Lopez is keeping him busy.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Knepp wants to pass to mount but Lopez is defending the position. Lopez looks like he's trying to stand up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Knepp not landing any meaningful shots this time. Knepp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Knepp not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Knepp passes the guard and advances to mount! Knepp putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Knepp scoring with strikes but Lopez is staying in there. Knepp misses with some ground and pound and Lopez recovers position to half guard. Lopez is looking to control Knepp's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lopez avoid being mounted? Jebidiah Knepp is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Lopez gets back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Knepp trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lopez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jebidiah Knepp overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Knepp slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Lopez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Knepp is one step ahead there. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lopez is on top in guard.
Knepp wants to sweep but no luck. Juan Lopez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Knepp trying to control the position here. Knepp manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

 That's four minutes gone in the round.
 The ref stands the fighters back up because Jebidiah Knepp just wasn't active enough. Knepp bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lopez's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Good standup being displayed there by Knepp as he connects with a hook. Knepp delivers a nice body kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Jebidiah Knepp showed his dominance in that final round. Well Knepp has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
