Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Charles Goive! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jeff Hanneman! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Hanneman does no damage. No luck for Goive with that takedown attempt. Hanneman misses with the combination.
Hanneman lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Goive backs up against the cage.
Horrible takedown by Goive or perhaps it was just good defense by Hanneman which made him look bad. Goive takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Goive has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charles Goive. That's going to take a lot out of him. Goive takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Hanneman tries a head kick but it misses.
Good exchange - Hanneman coming out on top. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hanneman tries to bum rush Goive with a series of wild strikes but Goive uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hanneman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jeff Hanneman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Goive has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Goive misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hanneman is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Hanneman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hanneman wants it to stay on the feet. Hanneman feints a jab promting Goive to slip. Hanneman then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Goive slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. A lazy left from Hanneman finds it's target. Hanneman has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Goive will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hanneman throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hanneman lands a lovely overhand right. Hanneman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goive takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Hanneman is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Goive had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Hanneman cracks Goive with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Goive slips a jab and a cross from Hanneman.

Goive closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Goive lands in his opponent's guard. Goive won't allow Hanneman to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Goive slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Goive seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hanneman for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goive looking to sit in guard and control but Hanneman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hanneman drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Goive dives on top into guard. Hanneman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Goive accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Goive stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hanneman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Goive pushing down on Hanneman's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Goive is trying to control the action in half guard but Hanneman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Goive is really struggling to control Hanneman but he's trying to hold on to the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Goive is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hanneman sees it coming and defends easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Goive ducks right into an uppercut from Hanneman. Nice sprawl there from Hanneman as Goive shoots in. Hanneman lands with a hook. Goive tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Hanneman closes the distance and lands a one-two. Hanneman throws a sloppy head kick and Goive moves out of range easily. Jeff Hanneman seems to be getting the better of the standup. Goive tries for a takedown but Hanneman circles away easily enabling Hanneman to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charles Goive. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Goive is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hanneman's half guard. Goive wants to control but Hanneman is keeping him busy.

Goive tries to pass to full mount but Hanneman defends it. Goive has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goive looking to control but Hanneman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hanneman tries to buck Goive off but he can't manage it. BOOM! Goive connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Goive can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hanneman is looking to escape. Goive thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Goive is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hanneman has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hanneman!

Hanneman leaves Goive with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hanneman scores with a crisp jab that stopped Goive in his tracks. Charles Goive is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Goive has a takedown stuffed. Hanneman throws a series of punches but Goive avoids them all with ease. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hanneman scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Hanneman scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like Charles Goive has been cut. Hanneman works over Goive's head and body with a nice combination. Hanneman's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hanneman duly obliges. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hanneman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sloppy strikes from Hanneman. Those never looked like landing. A punch combination from Hanneman misses. Hanneman takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Hanneman fails to land with a series of punches.
Goive looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Hanneman connects with a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hanneman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Goive shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hanneman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Goive to score an easy takedown into full guard. Goive is looking to advance position but Hanneman has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Hanneman has hold of Goive's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Goive manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hanneman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Goive can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hanneman working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Goive looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Hanneman! Submission of the night perhaps?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li shoots in and drives through. Kilgore sprawls well. Li gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kilgore. Kilgore tries to bum rush Li with a series of wild strikes but Li uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kilgore with a body punch. A glancing blow. Kilgore swinging wildly here.
Kilgore throws a combination that misses and Li counters with a shoot takedown. Kilgore fights it but they end up in guard. Kilgore keeping moving, preventing Li from controlling successfully. Li stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kilgore swivels though and keeps the full guard. Li has gone for a leg lock! Kilgore slips out almost immediately though and dives into Li's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paighn throws a nice outside leg kick. Paighn chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Perimental tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Paighn was well out of range. Poor timing from Perimental. Paighn throws a head kick that misses. Paighn wants to clinch. Perimental pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Paighn bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Perimental crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Paighn - the referee stops the clock and Perimental gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Paighn. Perimental manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Paighn closes the distance and clinches. The referee is keeping an eye on Paighn - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Paighn lands a nice knee to the body. Paighn is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Perimental goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Paighn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Paighn fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Perimental has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Paighn throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Perimental.
It looks like Ex Perimental has been cut. Paighn throws a front kick that sends Perimental stumbling back into the cage. Paighn connects with an inside leg kick. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Paighn. Perimental shrugs it off though. Paighn moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Paighn throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Paighn lets loose with a powerful body kick. Perimental will feel that in the morning. Paighn throws a quick inside leg kick. Paighn moves in looking to clinch but Perimental pushes him off. A decent looking cross lands there for Paighn.
Perimental is rocked! Paighn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Oh Perimental is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Paighn moves into the clinch. Paighn is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Perimental is defending well for now. Perimental seems to have got his legs back now. Paighn scores with a knee to the head.
Ex Perimental's cut is getting worse. The two fighters are battling for control here. Perimental trying to break out of Paighn's Thai clinch. Paighn unloads with a massive knee right up the middle that drops Perimental to the canvas! He's out cold! Wow, what a knee by Paighn!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soendergaard tries to clinch but Dimisco is having none of it. Soendergaard shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Dimisco blocking the ground and pound attempt from Soendergaard. Soendergaard works his way into side control. Soendergaard lands a few punches from side control. Dimisco pushes Soendergaard away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Soendergaard gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Soendergaard trying to control the position but Dimisco is working away. An elbow from Soendergaard crashes against the mat.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Soendergaard is trying to get an arm triangle but Dimisco is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soendergaard scoring with punches from side control. Soendergaard has hold of Dimisco's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dimisco tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Soendergaard cranks the arm and Dimisco screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dimisco, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Saint Pierre! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivera closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Pierre has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rivera avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Rivera is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pierre is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rivera to the mat. Rivera regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Rivera looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Pierre tries to free his leg and advance position but Rivera is retaining full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rivera working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pierre doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pierre manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pierre thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rivera pulls Pierre in close to prevent any damage. Rivera is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Pierre has his hands clasped together but Rivera extends an breaks Pierre's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Rivera.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Antonio Rivera! After winning the bout, Antonio Rivera thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Myint Htaike! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Htaike moves out of range as Henry strikes. Htaike scores with a jab to the body. Htaike thuds his right hand into Henry's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Henry throws a big shot that misses. A jab from Htaike misses. Htaike throws a series of punches but Henry moves out of range. Henry rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Htaike moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Henry throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Henry swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Htaike changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Henry tries to avoid it but Htaike manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Henry to the ground. Henry escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Htaike is defended easily by Henry. Htaike closes this distance looking for a takedown but Henry circles away. Dunch Henry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Myint Htaike. Htaike fails to land the takedown. Henry stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Henry wants it to stay on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henry uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Htaike. Htaike misses with an uppercut
and Henry counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Htaike thinking. Henry throws a jab when Htaike was well out of range. A big left from Htaike misses. Henry throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Htaike keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Henry. Henry connects with the punch. Htaike is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Henry. Henry swings for the body but Htaike moves out of range.
Jab from Htaike. Htaike is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Henry's half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Htaike wants to control but Henry is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Htaike sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Henry defending well though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Henry misses with some strikes from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Henry working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Htaike. Henry preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Henry is pulling down on Htaike's head to control his posture. Henry trying to strike off his back.
Htaike postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Htaike drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Henry manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Htaike has Henry in his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Htaike is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Henry rolls with it to try and escape but Htaike cranks on the arm and Henry is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy shoots and misses and Davis counters with a takedown into side control. Davis working the ground and pound. Davis tries to move to full mount but Boy actually manages to regain half guard. Davis throwing shots but Boy is blocking nicely. Davis throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Boy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Davis. Davis working Boy over with strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boy tries to roll over but Davis keeps him under control.

Boy keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully. Davis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Davis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Boy works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Davis throwing strikes from guard but Boy blocks nicely. Boy wants to sweep but no luck.

Davis passes into half guard. Davis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Boy is not content to let Davis control the position. Boy blocking the ground and pound attempt from Davis. Davis looks to land a strike but Boy avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Davis wants to control from the top but Boy keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis throwing strikes from guard but Boy blocks nicely. Boy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mr Phil Davis. Boy closes the distance and clinches. Boy goes for a takedown attempt but Davis pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Davis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boy gets slowly back to his feet. Good shot there by Davis. Boy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but Boy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Davis feints and as Boy raises his hands in defense, Davis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Davis wants to control from the top but Boy keeps moving. Boy looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mr Phil Davis dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Davis cracks Boy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Boy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boy wants it to stay on the feet. A head kick misses from Boy. Boy fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Boy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but Boy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Boy shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Davis pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Davis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Boy's head. A jab from Davis finds it's way through Boy's defenses.
Boy is rocked! Davis plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Boy swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Boy face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Figaro looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bojanski is one step ahead there. Bojanski trying to control but Figaro is working from the bottom. Bojanski throws a big elbow that misses. Bojanski trying to control but Figaro is working from the bottom. Figaro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bojanski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bojanski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Figaro keeping moving, preventing Bojanski from controlling successfully. Figaro controls Bojanski momentarily but Bojanski frees himself. Figaro lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bojanski!
