The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Master throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Storm misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Storm connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Master feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Master is stalling in the full guard.
Master pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Storm is keeping the position for now.

Master stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Master gets a double leg takedown into Storm's guard.
Master slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Beast Master hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Storm throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A slapping body kick lands there for Storm.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Master cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Master takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Storm really wants to buck Master off and get back to his feet.
Storm avoids a series of strikes thrown by Master.

Master is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Storm has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Storm is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Storm knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Master on the ground.

Storm throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Master shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Storm's guard.

Master drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Master jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Storm is looking to stand up but Master isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Beast Master has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Storm could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Storm is fighting off a takedown attempt but Master is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Storm to the mat. Storm regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Master drops back looking for a leg! Storm is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Storm manages to kick Master off! Master jumps back into Storm's guard.
Beast Master has got the better of the ground game so far.
Master is working Storm over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Master is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Beast Master wasn't active enough on the ground.

Master has Storm pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Storm manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Beast Master showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Storm's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Master has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Storm after a bit of a struggle.

Master works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Master postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Master slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Let's hope that Master has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Master throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Storm was covering up waiting for the punch and Master finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Otto Jokinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Good leg kick by Jokinen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
