The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thoupos has closed the distance and engaged Sakuraba in a clinch.
Thoupos will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sakuraba up against the ropes. Thoupos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sakuraba has Thoupos up against the ropes in a clinch.

Thoupos throws a nice looking combination but Sakuraba bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Thoupos throws a nice outside leg kick. Thoupos throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sakuraba tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Thoupos is in Sakuraba's guard. Sakuraba striking off his back but it's not causing Thoupos any problems. Thoupos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sakuraba swivels though and keeps the full guard. Thoupos stands up from Sakuraba's guard - Thoupos perhaps looking for a knockout. Masakatsu Sakuraba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thoupos goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thoupos decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Thoupos is taking a breather. Sakuraba says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Thoupos has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stilztkin throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lee. Stilztkin shoots and misses and Lee counters with a takedown into side control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Lee swings around for an armbar but Stilztkin sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lee's guard. Stilztkin tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard. Stilztkin stands and throws Lee's legs to the side, diving into side control. Stilztkin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lee is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lee tries to buck Stilztkin off but Stilztkin is having none of it. Stilztkin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lee, who protects the arm well. Stilztkin is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lee is trying to escape and Stilztkin transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lee is forced to tap! Nice work there by Stilztkin! Very nice indeed!

and Anskuld counters with a left and a right that stings Fucker. Anskuld shoots in for a double leg but Fucker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fucker misses with a right hand and Anskuld counters with a lovely straight right hand! Fucker throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Fucker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fucker swinging wildly here.

Anskuld is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fucker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Fucker changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Fucker scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Fucker connects with a good right hand that stumbles Anskuld. Anskuld circles away out of range and recomposes himself. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Anskuld takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Fucker throws a wild body kick that Anskuld sees coming a mile off. Anskuld is trying desperately to land a takedown but Fucker is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Anskuld. Fucker lunges at Anskuld with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Anskuld's hand. Anskuld has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Fucker. Fucker attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Fucker with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Anskuld connects with a single shot there. Anskuld throws a wild combination but nothing lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anskuld lands with a shot to the body. Bareris Anskuld is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fucker pushes Anskuld away with a front kick. Fucker buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A short left from Fucker. Fucker is trying to break the clinch but Anskuld has him pressed against the ropes. Fucker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nice uppercut there from Anskuld. Anskuld punishes Fucker's body with a nice straight punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aiteouakrim's jab looks to have found its range, popping Arona under the eye. Aiteouakrim digs a good hook to Arona's body.
Arona takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Aiteouakrim connects with a good right hand that stumbles Arona. Arona circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Arona misses with a takedown attempt - Aiteouakrim sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Aiteouakrim throws a good cross that connects.

Salaheddine Aiteouakrim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Arona takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Aiteouakrim scores with a hook to the body. Arona takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Aiteouakrim connects with a body shot that sends Arona's belly button to the back. Arona takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Sloppy strikes from Aiteouakrim. Those never looked like landing. Aiteouakrim jabs at Arona's body. Arona takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Aiteouakrim! Arona is backing up but he can't get away as Aiteouakrim lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Arona and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Silva is rocked! Bean comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Silva is breathing heavily. Bean lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Silva up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Bean from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Silva's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
