6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rob Kelly! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duque but Duque pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kelly looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Duque closes the distance and clinches up with Kelly, looking for a takedown. Duque pushes Kelly against the cage but Kelly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Duque ducks right into an uppercut from Kelly. Duque has closed the distance and engaged Kelly in a clinch.
Kelly swings wildly with an uppercut but Duque uses good head movement to avoid it. Duque misses with a punch to the body.
Kelly is looking to control Duque's arms but Duque gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kelly has his back to the cage. Duque is trying to pull guard but Kelly turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. A short body shot lands from Kelly as the two fighters clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kelly looks to throw the jab but Duque is out of range. Duque shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kelly but Kelly pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kelly misses with a hook. Duque ducked under it nicely. Kelly misses with a looping right. Kelly keeps the fight on the outside. A slow jab from Duque misses its intended target. Nice shot lands for Kelly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duque tries to clinch but Kelly moves out of range. Kelly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duque moves away. Kelly swats away the attempt to clinch by Duque. Duque tries to close the distance and clinch but Kelly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Duque uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kelly.
Duque takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Duque throws a head kick that misses. Kelly swats away the attempt to clinch by Duque. Kelly takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kelly. Duque is looking to clinch. Donk. Kelly catches Duque right on the button with a cross. Duque has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duque shoots in and gets a takedown into Kelly's guard. Kelly pulls Duque in close to his closed guard and prevents Duque from doing any damage or advancing position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kelly looking to control.

Kelly's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kelly duly obliges. Kelly scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kelly, as that shot connected.
Duque steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kelly. Duque misses with an uppercut. Kelly swings for the body but Duque moves out of range.
Kelly with a body punch. A glancing blow. Duque shoots for a double leg takedown but Kelly sprawls well. He's pushed Duque's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kelly misses with an uppercut. A telegraphed right hand from Kelly misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kelly bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Duque's head. Kelly scores with a jab. Duque acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Duque wants to clinch. The fighters circling - Kelly throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Duque misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kelly misses with a hook. Kelly looks to land a right hand but Duque moved out of range. Kelly misses with a straight left. Kelly lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Duque at a distance.
Duque shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kelly as he jumps to the side. Duque tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kelly swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kelly misses with a right hand and Duque counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Duque trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kelly avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kelly is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kelly is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Duque trying to control but Kelly is working from the bottom. Kelly looking for a sweep. Not yet Kelly, not yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kelly working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Duque. Duque in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Duque throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kelly works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Duque won't allow Kelly to sweep him here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Duque throwing strikes but missing. Kelly keeping moving, preventing Duque from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelly seems keen to control Duque's posture. Duque trying to control but Kelly is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Duque shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kelly sprawls well. Kelly wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Duque gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gilberto Duque. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rob Kelly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Duque wants to clinch up but Kelly keeps it at a distance. Kelly wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Duque closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kelly quickly recovers to half guard. Kelly is looking to improve his position.

Duque trying to control the position from guard on top but Kelly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Duque with a flurry of punches that miss. Kelly doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Duque is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Duque's guard. Duque wants to sweep but no luck. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kelly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kelly wants to pass the guard but Duque is keeping the position. Duque wants to sweep but no luck. Kelly postures up in Duque's guard and throws a big left but Duque blocks it. Kelly postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelly wants to control from the top but Duque keeps moving. Gilberto Duque overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kelly cracks Duque with a solid left hand. Kelly keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Duque's head. Kelly passes into half guard. Kelly winds up and cracks Duque with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Duque is refusing to be controlled, as Kelly sits in half guard. Duque is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gilberto Duque has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rob Kelly is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kelly wants to lay and pray for a moment but Duque keeps working.
And that's the end of the fight! Rob Kelly comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kelly has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Tontyl.
Tontyl lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Silver throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Silver thuds a left hand into Tontyl's body. Nice straight punches there by Tontyl. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tontyl. Tontyl misses with an uppercut. Silver saw that one coming. Tontyl tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silver was well out of range. Poor timing from Tontyl. Tontyl swings for the body but Silver moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tontyl. Silver does a little dance to reset his feet. That kick from Tontyl tenderised Silver's leg. Silver is trying to keep his angry face on. Tontyl avoids the body shot from Silver.
Nice takedown defense from Tontyl. No joy for Silver on that attempt. Silver shoots in for a takedown but Tontyl shows good takedown defense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tontyl ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silver moves away. Tontyl really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Tontyl misses with a head kick.
Silver decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Tontyl trying to hold on to Silver's head to control him but Silver postures up.
Tontyl is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Silver is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Tontyl is doing well to control the position and prevent Silver from advancing to side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silver is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Bartosz Tontyl has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Jab, jab by Silver - just one landing. Tontyl listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Silver fails with an attempt to clinch.

Silver tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tontyl manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Silver throws a right hand that misses
and Silver takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tontyl throws a looping overhand right but Silver ducks down to avoid it. Tontyl will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tontyl tries to bum rush Silver with a series of wild strikes but Silver uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big left from Tontyl misses. Tontyl lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Tontyl's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Tontyl duly obliges. Silver moves into range and clinches up with Tontyl. Tontyl stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tontyl swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Silver makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Tontyl really felt that one! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bartosz Tontyl will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tontyl lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silver circles away quickly and effectively. Silver tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tontyl sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silver somewhat. Silver avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Tontyl gets caught napping as Silver dives in and scores a takedown. Tontyl manages to retain guard. Silver wants to pass the guard but Tontyl is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silver is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tontyl wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Silver is now in half guard. Silver controlling the action here. Tontyl moves into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silver trying to control but Tontyl is working from the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Silver is stalling in the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Patrick Silver. Silver drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tontyl is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silver trying to control the action but Tontyl is working from the bottom. Silver is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Tontyl will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! de le Fe lands a head shot.
It looks like Brian Carver has been cut. de le Fe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
de le Fe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
de le Fe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carver. de le Fe takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Carver throws a big shot that misses. Carver scores with a punch to the head. Carver misses with a wild body shot. de le Fe on the wrong end of a nice jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Carver throws a left that rocks de le Fe and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Carver dives into side control, looking to finish! Can de le Fe regain composure!
de le Fe is rocked! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Carver decides to stand back up. Carver steps back and let's de le Fe get back to his feet. Oh de le Fe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice defenses there by Carver. Brian Carver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carver drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks de le Fe right on the button. de le Fe goes down! Carver follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Carver gets the win via TKO!
