Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dragos Ilie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Hearst Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogan has chosen The Game as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Hunter Hearst Hogan! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ilie avoids the head kick by Hogan.
Ilie gets a clinch. Ilie lands with a right to the head. Hogan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ilie is defending well for now. Hogan stalls. Hogan jumps guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ilie's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Ilie throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hogan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hogan throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hogan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ilie throwing strikes from guard but Hogan blocks nicely. Ilie working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hogan's head.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hogan misses with a straight right. Hogan misses with an uppercut
and Ilie makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Ilie throws a series of punches but Hogan moves out of range. Ilie throws a leg kick and Hogan counters with a nice double leg into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hogan connects with a nice short shot to Ilie's temple. Hogan with the ground and pound but Ilie uses the opportunity to regain guard. Ilie looking for a sweep. Not yet Ilie, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ilie will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hogan preventing the sweep. Hogan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ilie swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hogan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Hogan trying to control the position from guard on top but Ilie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hogan works a leg free and moves into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hogan missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hogan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hunter Hearst Hogan dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ilie looks to land a right hand but Hogan moved out of range. Ilie checks a low kick from Hogan. Ilie chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hogan can pounce on him.

Hogan feints and then cracks Ilie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ilie down. Ilie checks the leg kick. Hogan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hogan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ilie avoids it really well and circles away. Hogan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ilie but Ilie pushes him off and we're back to square one. Dragos Ilie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hunter Hearst Hogan. Hogan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ilie.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hogan fails with a takedown attempt. Hogan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ilie fails in his attempt to clinch. Ilie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hogan.
Hogan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ilie lands with a straight right. Hogan didn't see that one coming. Hogan pushes Ilie up against the cage in a clinch.

Hogan is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Hogan misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ilie.
Hogan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ilie fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ilie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hogan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ilie can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight. Hogan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ilie. Hogan lands a nice knee to the body. Hogan leaning against his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Hogan lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ilie or not. Ilie tries to throw a body punch but Hogan avoids it by throwing Ilie back against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hunter Hearst Hogan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

and Ilie counters with a left and a right that stings Hogan. Hogan throws a sloppy head kick and Ilie moves out of range easily. Ilie wants to land a leg kick but Hogan is out of range. Hogan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hunter Hearst Hogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hogan lands a leg kick that knocks Ilie off balance momentarily. Hogan blocks a leg kick. Ilie circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ilie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hogan manages to avoid it. Ilie blocks a leg kick. Some bone on bone action there as Ilie checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Ilie on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hogan. Hogan obviously looking to wear him down.
Hogan scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Hogan connects with a leg kick. Ilie looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Hogan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Hogan prevents a takedown attempt there.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hogan. Hogan is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Hogan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hogan is trying to trip Ilie. He has hold of a leg but Ilie is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hogan persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Hogan stands and throws Ilie's legs to the side, diving into side control. Hogan connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Ilie some visible discomfort.
Ilie is not content to let Hogan control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ilie can't do much from the bottom here. Hogan misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Ilie holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Ilie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hogan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hogan fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Hogan lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Hogan tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Hogan is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ilie will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hogan is trying to ground and pound but Ilie uses the momentary lack of control by Hogan to regain half guard. Hogan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hogan passes to side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Hunter Hearst Hogan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hogan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzo fails with a takedown attempt. Jones lands a nice shot that snaps Gonzo's head back.
Jones throws a hook to the side of Gonzo's head but Gonzo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jones lands a jab to Gonzo's midsection. Nice sprawl there from Jones as Gonzo shoots in. Gonzo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doctor Gonzo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gonzo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Jones changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Gonzo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gonzo fails with a takedown attempt. Jones is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gonzo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.

There ya go! Gonzo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gonzo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gonzo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Gonzo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gonzo working a defensive guard but Jones manages to pass into side control anyway.

Jones wants to stand but Gonzo has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones is fending him off so far but Gonzo persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doctor Gonzo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Gonzo needs to keep his hands up - Jones had a free shot at his head there. Nice body punch from Jones. This has been an exciting period of action! Gonzo scores a takedown into full mount! Gonzo working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Jones slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.

Gonzo should have avoided that one. Jones changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Lyndon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones lands with a hook. Gonzo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Jones lands with a nice body punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gonzo. Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gonzo. Jones lands the left hand. Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Gonzo on that attempt. Jones with a jab. Gonzo shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Gonzo, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gonzo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Jones misses with a two punch combination.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vlad fails with the takedown and Gambino counters with a nice body kick.
Vlad on the wrong end of a nice hook. Gambino shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Vlad eats them both and turns towards Gambino to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Gambino lands with a straight right. Vlad didn't see that one coming. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gambino throws a push kick but Vlad slaps the foot to one side. Gambino fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vlad. Vlad stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gambino. Vlad tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gambino paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gambino cracks the inside of Vlad's front leg. Vlad tries to clinch and Gambino makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Gambino shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Gambino scores with a jab to the jaw. Vlad with a poor takedown and Gambino counters with a nice low kick that buckles Vlad's knee momentarily. Gambino is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Gambino's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gambino duly obliges.

Gambino fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vlad manages to avoid it. Gambino scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vlad doesn't seem bothered though. An inside leg kick lands from Gambino. Gambino misses with a body kick. Gambino dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gambino feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vlads jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gambino is looking to score with low kicks. Gambino misses with a low kick as Vlad jumps back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frankie Gambino dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Gambino misses with a series of wild punches.

Gambino ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Vlad out cold! The fight is over!

Bull throws a leg kick which misses Sanchez's front leg but catches the back leg as Sanchez tries to avoid it. Good work by Bull as he checks the leg kick. Bull throws a nice inside leg kick. Sanchez has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bull. Sanchez walks into a left hand.
