The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Fink or perhaps it was just good defense by Seesumran which made him look bad. Seesumran is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nice body punch from Seesumran. Fink will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A kick lands to the mid section there for Seesumran. Fink fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sompong Seesumran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilhelm Fink. Fink swats away the attempt to clinch by Seesumran. Seesumran gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Seesumran shoots in for a takedown but Fink shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wilhelm Fink seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fink slaps away a takedown attempt from Seesumran, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fink scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Fink misses with a takedown attempt and Seesumran counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Seesumran won't allow Fink to get back to his feet. Seesumran might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Seesumran trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fink's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fink is breathing heavily. Seesumran stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fink swivels though and keeps the full guard. Seesumran trying to control but Fink is working from the bottom.

Fink gets to his feet - Seesumran follows without any prompting. Fink looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fink thows a body shot but no joy.

The referee asks Johnson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Johnson prefers to stall for the moment though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! You can see the frustration on Lynn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Johnson taking a breather here. Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Austin Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nightmare. Austin Simmons had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters circling a little - Brown finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Brown drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Brown wants to pass the guard but Simmons is keeping the position. Brown trying to control but Simmons is working from the bottom. Simmons throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Brown looking to sit in guard and control but Simmons gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Simmons throws an elbow that misses. Brown uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Simmons's guard. Nice move by Brown! Brown with a flurry of punches that miss. Brown prevents Simmons from getting back to his feet.

Simmons not landing any meaningful shots this time. Simmons tries to pass the half guard into mount. Brown knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brown regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Simmons.

Brown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Brown is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Simmons is looking to escape. Simmons slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Brown uses his free foot to push down on Simmons's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Simmons.

Rob Brown has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Brown changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Brown getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Austin Simmons has been cut. Simmons gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Brown scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Simmons fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brown avoids it really well and circles away. Brown lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Simmons at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Brown. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Simmons takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Brown scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Austin Simmons is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Brown shoots for a double leg takedown but Simmons sprawls well. He's pushed Brown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Austin Simmons's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Brown lands a head kick. Simmons smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Brown slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. A nice inside leg kick there by Brown. That's going to slow Simmons down. Simmons tries to close the distance and clinch but Brown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Simmons walks into a straight right hand from Brown. Simmons fails with a takedown attempt. Brown feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Simmonss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Simmons is rocked! Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Brown throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Simmons is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
