1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Allistair Overeen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gilbert Yvel! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Overeen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Overeen pushes Yvel up against the ropes in a clinch. Overeen lands an elbow inside.
Yvel ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Yvel no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Overeen slips nicely into half guard. Yvel trying to control but Overeen postures up.
Overeen is trying to control the action in half guard but Yvel is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Overeen decides to return to a standing position.
Overeen scores a takedown into full mount! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yvel can do anything to dispel that myth. Overeen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Yvel looks gassed!

Overeen is working for a guillotine from mount but Yvel frees his head quite easily.

Overeen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Overeen stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. A combination from Overeen does no damage. Overeen shoots in but no luck this time.
Yvel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Overeen sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Yvel is keen to just control but Overeen is a slippery customer. Overeen trying to hold on to Yvel's head to control him but Yvel postures up.

Yvel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Overeen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Yvel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Overeen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Yvel preventing the sweep.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Overeen tries to clinch up.
Yvel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Overeen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. An elbow from Yvel crashes against the mat.

Yvel jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle�. Ooooh, that looks tight� Overeen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Overeen and Yvel has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That was a close round but I would say that Allistair Overeen will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Overeen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Yvel to score an easy takedown into full guard. Overeen is looking to stand up but Yvel isn't so interested in that idea. Overeen controls Yvel momentarily but Yvel frees himself. Yvel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Overeen is keeping the position for now. Overeen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Overeen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Overeen tries to control but Yvel wriggling away. Overeen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Yvel shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Overeen napping and manages to drive through into side control! Yvel is looking to take a break and control but Overeen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Yvel working away. Yvel just content to control the position. Yvel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Overeen keeps working.

Yvel is looking to stand up but Overeen isn't so interested in that idea. Overeen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Overeen lands a couple of decent looking shots. Yvel keeping moving, preventing Overeen from controlling successfully. Yvel is looking to stand up but Overeen isn't so interested in that idea. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Allistair Overeen will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Overeen works a leg free and moves into half guard.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Yvel keeping full guard, as Overeen tries to pass.
Yvel has his foot on Overeen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Overeen works his way back into a safe position though.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Overeen throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Yvel slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Overeen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Allistair Overeen. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Overeen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good work by Lawler as he checks the leg kick. Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lawler fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lawler feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. This has been an exciting period of action!

Silva jumps guard but Lawler stands there with Silva around his waist. Silva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Silva stalks Lawler and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lawler's face. Lawler staggers backwards, shaken. A head kick by Silva misses
and Lawler counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lawler is trying to move to mount but Silva reverses beautifully and ends up in Lawler's guard. Silva wanted to stand there but Lawler had control of the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lawler trying to keep a closed guard but Silva is proving a slippery customer.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Hardy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ricky Hanson! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardy throws a push kick but Hanson slaps the foot to one side. Hardy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hanson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hardy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hardy is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hanson asserts his dominance and retains side control. Hardy is not content to let Hanson control the position. Hardy prevents Hanson from improving position. Hardy pushes Hanson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hanson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hardy keeps working. Hardy is looking for a sweep.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hanson has a takedown stuffed. Hanson shoots in but no luck this time. Dan Hardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Hanson. Hardy misses with a double jab.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hanson. Hardy leaves Hanson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hardy throws a series of punches but Hanson moves out of range. Hanson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hardy as he avoids it easily. Hanson looks gassed!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A punch combination from Hardy misses. Hardy throws a one two combo.
 It looks like Ricky Hanson has been cut. Hardy lands with a big right hook that stumbles Hanson - he's out on his feet here! Hardy follows up with another monster hook that separates Hanson from consciousness! Hanson falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Hardy stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dan Hardy!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cote walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Diaz lands a head shot. Cote slaps away a takedown attempt from Diaz, before circling back to the center of the mat. Diaz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Diaz connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cote momentarily.

Cote looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Cote looks gassed!
Diaz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cote defends well. This has been an exciting period of action! Cote trying to control but Diaz is working from the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Cote working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Cote has eaten all the pies!
Diaz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cote defends well. Cote wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. Cote must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cote doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cote manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Cote stopping the sweep attempt from Diaz. Cote wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Cote avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cote throws a big right hand that misses.
Cote got a little sloppy there for a moment and Diaz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cote has managed to get both his arms back between Diaz's legs - danger averted.
Diaz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Diaz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cote is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Diaz has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cote is looking to defend but Diaz has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cote! Diaz pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cote taps out and this one is all over!
