The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norris closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Belfort to the mat! Belfort manages to get full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Norris accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Norris has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rigs closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Manabu's guard.

Rigs drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Manabu manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rigs has Manabu in his guard.

Rigs looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Rigs looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Manabu has picked Rigs up and slammed him! Rigs can't keep hold of the triangle and Manabu manages to pass to side control!
Rigs tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Manabu wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Rigs tries to improve position but can't.

Manabu is trying to get an arm triangle but Rigs is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Manabu is working to tighten is grip on Rigs's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rigs has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Manabu is really squeezing tight and eventually Rigs passes out! Manabu breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Slipidiquedeuva comes to the cage accompanied by Red Hot Chilli Peppers Havanna Afair. Eduardo Pizzato told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ryan has instead reached around Pimentel's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ryan arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

and Tibs counters with a slapping leg kick.

and Tibs counters with a lead uppercut that lands right on the button! Lockston goes down! Will Lockston beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's up! No problem. Let's get back to the action!

It looks like Patricky Lockston has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lockston changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tibs tries to avoid it but Lockston manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tibs to the ground. Tibs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Muay Tibs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patricky Lockston.
Lockston shoots in looking for a takedown but Tibs manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lockston's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tibs thuds his shin into the meat of Lockston's side.
Lockston looks gassed!
Tibs lands a brutal uppercut that launches Lockston off his feet! Lockston tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
