The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockert shoots in for a takedown but Hewson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hewson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hewson wants it to stay on the feet.
Rockert shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hewson as he avoids it easily.
Paul Hewson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Rockert.

Rockert closes the distance and clinches up with Hewson, looking for a takedown. Rockert pushes Hewson against the cage but Hewson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
