The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKee shoots for a takedown but Nostra saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McKee fails with a takedown attempt.

Nostra moves into the clinch.

Nostra pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nostra finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Nostra keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Costa Nostra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William McKee.
McKee shoots in looking for a takedown but Nostra manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McKee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

McKee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nostra but Nostra pushes him off and we're back to square one.

McKee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nostra is taking a breather. McKee says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Nostra uses his free foot to push down on McKee's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McKee.
McKee tries to hold on but Nostra postures up.
McKee is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Costa Nostra will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

McKee might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nostra kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Tornado drops his hands momentarily and Pfeifer takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Pfeifer gets in close and tags Tornado with a short punch that almost sends Tornado to the mat! Oh Tornado is in big trouble! He turns his back on Pfeifer, trying to create some distance but Pfeifer rushes him, striking wildly and Tornado goes down! The referee tackles Pfeifer into the cage to end the fight! Pfeifer is one violent man!
