The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boykiy forces Mehoff back against the ropes and clinches.
Boykiy is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Mehoff to keep the fight standing.

Boykiy ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Boykiy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Boykiy is pulling down on Mehoff's head to control his posture.

Boykiy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mehoff can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between MarkOne Arona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyka is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Nathaniel Dawkins-Bring it on. Yuri Boyka struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Arona lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Winner circles away quickly and effectively.

PhoQus connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt V U C K O covering up! PhoQus comes in with a big uppercut and V U C K O goes doooown! He's slumped up against the ropes, eyes staring blankly into space.
