Varankus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Murphy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Murphy shoots for a takedown but Varankus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Murphy tries to clinch there but Varankus circles away.

Varankus connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Brandon Murphy has been cut.
Ugniua Varankus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Varankus circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Murphy to the canvas! Murphy doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Varankus keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hayabusa screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
