The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polio shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hatton pinned against the cage. Hatton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hatton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Polio moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Billy Hatton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Polio throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hatton's waist but Hatton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Polio off to one side.
Hatton stalks Polio and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Polio's face. Polio staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Tommy Polio has been cut.
Hatton lands a jab.
Hatton lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Polio shoots in but Hatton avoids the takedown attempt easily.
