Guzman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is La Cucaracha. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marx rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Guzman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Marx chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Marx tries a head kick but it misses.
Marx dips to his left and cracks Guzman with an uppercut!
Marx throws a sloppy head kick and Guzman moves out of range easily.
Marx connects with a high kick.
Guzman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Bronson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Roths jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bronson enables Roth to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bronson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Roth has his foot on Bronson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bronson works his way back into a safe position though.

Roth is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bronson is looking to work some ground and pound but Roth has wrist control.

Roth looking for a triangle here. Bronson is fighting it but it looks tight! Roth pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Bronson is tapping out - this one is all over!
