The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Harris shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Buzzetta counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Buzzetta prevents a takedown attempt there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle, before Brutallius throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Schietzelt's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Brutallius lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters circling a little - Denis finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Denis closes the distance and clinches. Ray breaks the clinch.
Denis throws a right and a left that both miss. Denis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ray moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ray will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ray gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Denis counters with a three punch combo that has Ray backing up. Ray nods at Denis to acknowledge the strikes. Denis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck for Ray with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Ray. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ray closes this distance looking for a takedown but Denis circles away.

Denis gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Denis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Ray fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Denis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Denis moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Denis's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Denis duly obliges.

Ray has his takedown stuffed and Denis counters with a nice body shot. Jack Ray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Denis has taken the fight to the clinch.
Denis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ray is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Denis gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Denis stops Ray from standing up. Denis trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ray's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Julien Denis dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Denis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ray. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ray not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Denis wants to stand but Ray has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Ray manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Ray pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Ray landing strikes from the mount. Denis is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Ray with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ray working for a submission but Denis is keeping him at bay. Ray won't let Denis get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ray lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Ray lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Ray will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Denis tightens his grip and picks Ray up, before dumping him to the ground. Ray manages to land in guard. Ray looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ray gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Denis gets a clinch. Denis is defending well against a takedown attempt. Ray has Denis pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Denis manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Denis has picked Ray up - he's going for a ride! Denis dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Denis stands up and beckons Ray to join him on the feet.

Denis wants the takedown. Ray is fighting it off but Denis persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ray's guard against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Denis has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ray is proving hard to escape from. Ray has his foot on Denis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Denis works his way back into a safe position though. Ray looking for a sweep. Not yet Ray, not yet. Denis gets to his feet. Ray looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Denis lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Ray shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Denis defends it nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Denis drives through and clinches with Ray against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Julien Denis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Denis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Le might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Van Hammersmith cracks Le with a big right hand but Le just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Brandoa looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Liberatore with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Liberatore wants to get back to his feet. Liberatore is refusing to be controlled, as Brandoa sits in half guard. Brandoa trying to control the pace. Brandoa uses his free foot to push down on Liberatore's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Liberatore.
