1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joey Sikrokohv! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sikrokohv. Takamura tries to close the distance and clinch but Sikrokohv swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sikrokohv gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Sikrokohv tries to score a power double leg takedown but Takamura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sikrokohv somewhat. Sikrokohv shoots in looking for a takedown. Takamura tries to sprawl out of it but Sikrokohv keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Takamura manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mamoru Takamura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey Sikrokohv. Sikrokohv throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Takamura tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sikrokohv is in Takamura's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Sikrokohv looking to pass the guard. Takamura is looking for a triangle but Sikrokohv pushes his legs off easily.
Takamura will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sikrokohv wants to control from the top but Takamura keeps moving. Sikrokohv engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takamura working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sikrokohv doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sikrokohv manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Takamura has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sikrokohv distracts Takamura with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Takamura wants to sweep here but Sikrokohv controlling him for the moment. Sikrokohv is sitting in close to Takamura's body. Takamura has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sikrokohv is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sikrokohv is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Takamura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butters shoots and misses and LightBear counters with a shoot takedown. Butters fights it but they end up in guard. LightBear trying to control but Butters is working from the bottom. LightBear showing good wrestling skills to control the position. LightBear trying to control but Butters is working from the bottom. LightBear postures up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Buzz LightBear hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Butters shoots in and drives through. LightBear sprawls well. LightBear leaves Butters with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikko Butters. That's going to take a lot out of him. Butters misses with a takedown attempt and LightBear counters with a single leg into guard. Butters didn't expect that.
That's one minute gone in the round. LightBear stands and steps away. Butters gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. LightBear shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Butters regains half guard. Butters is trying to maintain the position but LightBear is very close to passing his half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. LightBear is looking to advance position but Butters won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. LightBear is stalling here. Butters is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! LightBear seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Butters has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Butters wants to lay and pray for a moment but LightBear keeps working. LightBear is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. LightBear wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Butters controlling the pace.

LightBear is controlling Butters's trapped leg to prevent Butters from advancing to side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. LightBear is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. LightBear is not content to let Butters control the position.
Mikko Butters has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Butters shoots in for a double leg but LightBear sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. LightBear feints and as Butters raises his hands in defense, LightBear changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Butters keeping moving, preventing LightBear from controlling successfully. LightBear controls from within his opponent's guard. LightBear trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. LightBear is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

LightBear throws a series of punches but Butters moves out of range. Butters shoots for a double leg takedown but LightBear sprawls well. He's pushed Butters's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Butters tries for a takedown but LightBear circles away easily so LightBear counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. LightBear controls the pace of the fight for a moment. LightBear throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Butters works some decent striking defense from the bottom. LightBear preventing the sweep. Butters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for LightBear on the ground. Butters is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Butters's guard. Butters trying to hold on to LightBear's head to control him but LightBear postures up.
LightBear decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Butters tries to close the distance and clinch but LightBear swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butters misses with a takedown and LightBear counters with a nice double leg into side control. Butters won't be happy with that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikko Butters. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. LightBear works to advance to full mount. Butters defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. This has been an exciting period of action! Butters defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from LightBear. Butters wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by LightBear.

That's three minutes gone in the round. LightBear controlling the position easily from mount. LightBear trying to control but he's not successful this time. LightBear misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

LightBear has control of Butters's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Butters regains control of the situation pretty easily.
LightBear avoids the attempt from Butters to control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. LightBear looking to control but Butters is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Buzz LightBear showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
LightBear is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Butters's half guard. LightBear wants to pass to mount but Butters is defending the position. The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Buzz LightBear wasn't active enough on the ground. LightBear gets caught flat footed, as Butters shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. LightBear is pulling down on Butters's head. It's preventing any offense from Butters, at least for the moment. Butters prevents LightBear from getting back to his feet. LightBear isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Butters stacks LightBear on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Butters! LightBear is trying to control Butters's posture but Butters avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. LightBear is looking to regain half guard here but Butters keeps moving and retains side control. You can see the frustration on LightBear's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. A lull in the action here as Butters stalls from top position. LightBear tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. LightBear manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. LightBear is trying to get back to full guard. LightBear gets back to full guard.
Butters avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. LightBear is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Butters is aware though and is defending well. Mikko Butters has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Butters trying to control the position from guard on top but LightBear is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Butters trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Buzz LightBear is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. LightBear is controlling Butters's posture.
And that's the end of the fight! Buzz LightBear comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got LightBear winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGee jabs Krenshaw right on the nose. Krenshaw blinks but takes it well. Krenshaw shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McGee defends it nicely. A looping hook to the body misses from McGee. Krenshaw does a little dance to reset his feet. Krenshaw really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Krenshaw. Krenshaw fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McGee checks a leg kick. Krenshaw dives in and grabs McGee's left leg, looking for a takedown. McGee pushes down on Krenshaw's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vay Krenshaw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krenshaw scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Krenshaw tries for a takedown but McGee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Vay Krenshaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krenshaw fails with a takedown attempt. Krenshaw wants to clinch.

Krenshaw uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McGee. McGee smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. McGee thuds a left hand into Krenshaw's body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Krenshaw takes one to the side of the head.

It looks like Vay Krenshaw has been cut. Krenshaw ducks under a wild hook from McGee. Oh Krenshaw is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! McGee lands a brutal uppercut that launches Krenshaw off his feet! Krenshaw tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powers slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Powers tries to clinch there but Chen circles away.
Powers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chen circles away. Chen stuffs the takedown attempt from Powers. Powers gets slowly back to his feet. Powers darts in trying to clinch and Chen counters with a lovely shot to the body. Horrible takedown by Powers or perhaps it was just good defense by Chen which made him look bad. Shaunn Chen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Powers. Chen blocks a jab. Powers fails with a takedown attempt. Powers is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Chen pushes Powers back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Chen lands with a left to the head. Chen has Powers pressed against the ropes, preventing Powers from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Powers is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Chen misses with a body punch.

Powers wants a takedown but no success here.

Powers dives in and grabs Chen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chen pushes down on Powers's head and hops out. Powers avoids the body shot from Chen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alvarez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ward's guard. Alvarez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Alvarez trying to control the position from guard on top but Ward is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ward is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ward pulls Alvarez in close to his closed guard and prevents Alvarez from doing any damage or advancing position. Ward controls Alvarez momentarily but Alvarez frees himself. Alvarez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ward swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ward tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ward has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ward is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alvarez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ward tries for a kimura but Alvarez is defending well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Alvarez is trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lilburne lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Patterson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lilburne has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lilburne and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Lilburne uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Patterson has time to react. Lilburne lands with a kick to the ribs.
Patterson looks gassed! Lilburne lands a big head kick that sends Patterson tumbling to the mat! Lilburne takes a step backwards and waves Patterson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mustang! Peippo tries to buck Mustang off but Mustang is having none of it. Peippo can't do much from the bottom here. Mustang tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mustang has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Peippo is controlling Mustang's trapped leg to prevent Mustang from advancing to side control. Peippo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Peippo. Peippo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Peippo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mustang's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mustang shoots for a double leg takedown but Peippo sprawls well. He's pushed Mustang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nice takedown defense from Peippo. No joy for Mustang on that attempt. Peippo lands with a right hand. Peippo leaves Mustang with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kari Peippo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Mustang. Mustang shoots in and bounces Peippo off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Montoya! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montoya takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Montoya tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. McBrain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Montoya's corner calls for a 1-2. Montoya obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Bruce McBrain has been cut. McBrain fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. A jab from Montoya misses. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Montoya checks a leg kick. Montoya scores with a kick to the midsection. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Montoya tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but McBrain paws at him with a jab and circles away. A slapping leg kick lands for Montoya.
Montoya swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McBrain. McBrain misses the shot to the body. McBrain moves away from the strike by Montoya. Montoya has closed the distance and engaged McBrain in a clinch.

McBrain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. John Montoya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Montoya doesn't manage to clinch there - McBrain circles away.
McBrain connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Montoya's hands. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Some wild striking there from McBrain.

That's two minutes gone in the round. McBrain bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. McBrain fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Montoya. McBrain misses with a body shot.

and McBrain counters with a lovely shot to the body. Montoya tries to bum rush McBrain with a series of wild strikes but McBrain uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Montoya looks gassed! McBrain connects with a leg kick. Montoya looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Montoya looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Montoya moves to clinch but McBrain breaks away and McBrain counters with a stiff right hand. McBrain feints and then cracks Montoya's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Montoya down. McBrain lands an overhand right. McBrain fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Montoya on the side of the head.

McBrain ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Montoya moves away. Montoya takes a swing at McBrain's ribcage but misses. Montoya swings widly with a right hand

and McBrain counters with an inside leg kick. McBrain lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by McBrain. This has been an exciting period of action! McBrain moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Montoya is rocked! McBrain connects with a nice cross there... Montoya is looking wobbly and McBrain recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Montoya to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - McBrain jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!
