Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mad shoots in looking for a takedown but Slater manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mad's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mad looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mad takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Don Mad has been cut.
Mad takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Slater cracks Mad with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Slater has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mad to stand back up!

Mad is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slater flashes Mad a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Mad's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Mad crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Slater punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Baltabekov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Conti tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Baltabekov is in Conti's guard.
