0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jukebox Timebmb! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowen throws a nice looking combination but Timebmb bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Timebmb fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bowen misses with a few strikes there.
Bowen throws a series of punches but Timebmb avoids them all with ease. Timebmb shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bowen sprawls well. Bowen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Timebmb gets slowly back to his feet. Timebmb works Bowen's body with a nice hook. Bowen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Timebmb closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bowen to the mat! Bowen manages to get full guard. Timebmb slips nicely into half guard. Timebmb with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bowen tries to kick Timebmb off but Timebmb keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Timebmb works his foot free and advances to mount. Timebmb lands with some strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Timebmb landing punches. Timebmb breaks from Bowen's wrist control and lands an elbow. Timebmb working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Timebmb landing strikes, looking to finish! Timebmb raining down shots from the mount! Timebmb dominating with strikes here. Timebmb looking to secure an arm triangle but Bowen defends it well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Timebmb cracks Bowen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Timebmb with shots to the head and body - Bowen looks very uncomfortable down there. Bowen taking shots to the head. Timebmb working away from the top, dropping strikes. Bowen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Timebmb on the ground. Bowen wants to try and get back to his feet. Timebmb raining down shots from the mount! Timebmb has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Timebmb lands a heavy elbow.
Bowen is rocked! Bowen is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Timebmb locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Bowen is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jukebox Timebmb! Our winner, Jukebox Timebmb, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delos Reyes lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Travolta backs up against the cage.
Travolta decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Travolta is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Travolta working over Delos Reyes with some ground and pound. Delos Reyes looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
It looks like Jose Delos Reyes has been cut. Delos Reyes is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Travolta has latched onto it... Big trouble! Travolta pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Delos Reyes is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Travolta!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manero throws a leg kick but Fray checks it. Fray shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Manero's guard. Fray chips away with some ground and pound. Fray throws a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Manero working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fray. Manero keeping full guard, as Fray tries to pass. Fray trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fray with a flurry of punches that miss. Fray connects with a couple of short punches. Fray throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Manero avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Fray throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Manero works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Fray connects with a couple of short punches. Fray slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Manero tries to get out of the position. Manero keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fray landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Fray lands with a punch from half guard. Manero might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fray sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Manero defending well though. Fray looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Fray thows a huge punch but Manero dodges it nicely.
Fray slips a nice elbow through Manero's hands, connecting with Manero's forehead. Fray looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Manero with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Fray working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Manero on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Fray passes the guard and advances to mount! Fray with shots to the head and body - Manero looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fray has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Manero's face.
Manero is desperately trying to improve his position but Fray has a good base and remains in mount. Fray raining down hammerfists from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fray cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fray has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Manero's face.

Contreras tries to close the distance and clinch but Aldo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Contreras is looking to clinch. Aldo avoids the body shot from Contreras.

This has been an exciting period of action! Aldo tries to clinch but Contreras moves out of range. Aldo takes a shot right to the bread basket. Contreras stalks Aldo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Aldo's face. Aldo staggers backwards, shaken. Aldo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Contreras checks it well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Contreras misses with a lunging right hand
and Aldo counters with a series of strikes. Contreras will be more careful next time no doubt. Contreras takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Aldo tries to bum rush Contreras with a series of wild strikes but Contreras uses good footwork to avoid the assault. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Urijah Aldo will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jay Contreras's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A big right from Contreras misses. Contreras gets in close and instigates a clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Contreras has Aldo pressed against the cage, preventing Aldo from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Aldo manages to break the clinch.
Contreras rushes Aldo and presses him up against the cage. Aldo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Contreras has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Aldo is trying to maintain a safe position but Contreras gets an underhook and turns Aldo into the cage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Aldo is trying to break the clinch but Contreras is controlling him. Contreras scores with a knee to the head.

Contreras lands a good knee to the midsection. Aldo won't want to take too many of those. Aldo is trying to break the clinch but Contreras has him pressed against the cage. Contreras manages to break the clinch.

Aldo tries to land a front kick but Contreras steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Contreras swats away the attempt to clinch by Aldo.

Aldo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Contreras paws at him with a jab and circles away. Aldo swings and misses with a hook to the body.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Contreras looks to score with a jab to the body but Aldo is just out of range. Aldo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Contreras tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Urijah Aldo. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duncan with a lazy takedown attempt and Black counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Duncan! Duncan sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Black missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duncan has hold of Black's hands but Black slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Black is nestled in close to Duncan, controlling him well.
